  1. made me fell a bit quezziue, especially the bit were the astra flips into those people... not cool
  2. ease up there buddy, you only need two!
  3. NA - Not Applicable! As for you conrad... i suggest rather than buying really expensive STI parts to make your car something its not, just get the genuine article. or at least get a real car... you can only abuse an "STI enhanced" badge so much!
  4. Awesome, thanks heaps for the tips guys. Very much appreciated
  5. it seems the that -7's are the go, would 700cc injectors sufice, or would i need bigger? also is it worth spending the extra money on cams as well, or will the good ol' standards do the job?
  6. so it looks like im on the money then. its currently got the N1's on it, with 20 psi of boost the car made 310kw at the rears. what sort of power should i expect to se out of the 2860-7's with similar or less boost? a bit of a curley one i know but im just after a ball park figure. im hoping for about 350kw (bearing in mind im getting larger injectors done at the same time.). do you think im dreaming, and what size injectors should i go for? cheers.
  7. Well it seems that at my last outing to winton raceway my turbos decided that enough was enough. so im now looking to upgrade a bit. the thing that im having trouble deciding weather to stick with the twins setup or to go big single... if its going to be twins, im looking at the garret 2860-7's. i want something that going to give me good power/torque, without sacrificing response. the car does see a bit of track work... but ive always liked the idea of the single turbo with the external gate screamer (love the noise!!!). has anyone got any suggestions on what i can go for? cheers. matty.
  8. ive got a complete standard exhaust system if you interested. also have the front indicators
  9. anyone interested in buying a standard exhaust system?
  10. congrats to the guys at godzilla, 931KW (close enough to 1250hp) at the rollers is a mega effort!!! well done!!!
  11. flames are definately heaps of fun. especially when you get the big bang too! my favorite is going from 3rd to 4th, full noise, and BANG when you get back on the load pedal!
  12. i garantee it will be the coil packs. it will be hard to find which one it is, but it will start getting worse and worse. what you can do is pull the cover off, let the car run until it starts to miss fire. then disconnect the coil packs one by one. with each one you disconnect the idle should get even rougher, until you disconnect one and the idle doesnt change. then you have found your faulty coil pack. same thing has hapend to me with both my skylines. with my old gts-t i just replaced them one at a time as they went. but with my gtr i lashed out and got a set of splitfires. i can highly recomend the splitfires. ive never had a problem with them. hope this has been a help.
  13. Damn! if only i was in NSW... i need a new seat too.
  14. Hi all, has anyone else seen the smashed R32 GTS-T parked out the front of the police station on nepean hwy in cheltenham? its a silver one and its quite comprehensively rooted!!! they have put a sign on it that says something like "dont let this be your christmas". i was just wondering if anyone had seen it and/or if anyone knows maybe who it belonged to? i think it sends a pretty good message, its quite shocking to see it. cheers, matty.
  15. the gtr's look nice in black, might i suggest you put the rear spoiler on
  16. i can tell you that they are not interchangeable. i had the same thing with my four door and they sent me a two door mirror, it didnt line up as the shape of the a pillar is steeper on the four doors. i hope that makes sence for you.
  17. whats going on guys? if you have been thinking about doing a track day for a while now, then i say make it this one! i know times are tuff at the moment with the econemy the way it is, but hey. petrol has come down a bit, so treat yourself! what are you waiting for? HOP TO IT!!!!!!
  18. ^^^^ there goes conrad using my computer!!! ^^^^^
  19. Hello all together! The Honda Sports Car Club of Victoria (HSCCV) are runing a track day up at Winton on November 30th. I can highly recomend this as its an awesome day out with the garantee of plenty of track time. Its an ideal day for novice drivers as we have driver training on offer. You can expect to see a great range of cars there, and a very relaxed and friendly atomsphere. The supp regs and entry form are available from the website - HSCCV There will be a maximum of only 50 cars on the day, so get in fast! See you there!!! Matty.
  20. touche shepo, touche...
  21. theres no doubt the r33 would have been nice. the wrx is nice and new though. besides i doubt you would have kept up with me around the track anyway, you need talent for that!...
  22. well i hope its not something along the lines of this... now that would take more than a couple of people to move....
  23. come on guys, cut him some slack. ive met the guy and he's actually a good bloke. he has done alot for motorsport in australia. i say good on him. just my 2c...
  24. they are just the 595. alot of it is down to the wheel alignment. my gtr has a rather agressive wheel alignment, so it would probably handle well no matter what tyres are on it. thats why i cant wait to get my hands on a set of "R" spec tyres.
