How about this. The GT3540R on an SR20. One is 0.63 the other is 0.86.
Anyways yeah might be a bit laggy for what you are looking for so the GT30R seems like a nice choice!
16psi on a 2L to make 300rwkw is a hard ask Roy. Its like asking a RB20DE to make 140-150rwkw in naturally aspirated form. The GT35R might do it, but 16psi is not much flow to work with unless you have big cams/porting etc. You are better off leaning on the GT30R to reach your goals rather than oversizing the turbo just for the 'lower boost' mentality. A GT35R is a huge thing for a 2L and the transient response even on boost will be less than desirable. Remember 300rwkw is 300rwkw, no matter what the boost; the strain on the motor is the essentially same really.
EDIT - of course this is assuming you have an RB20DET...
You never plug up the breather hoses otherwise you will overpressurise the crank case and blow seals. What you need to do is install a catch can like you have done, where the oil from the breather hose collects in a can instead of messing up your intake. You might have to do a compression test to see if your motor is still running OK. But it shouldn't fill up as fast as you describe.
That graph is a bit sketchy disco -
a) Thats assuming the turbo is seeing 900C but I doubt its that hot upon light throttle.
b) What temperature is the 'coking' temperature, and for what oil? A cheapy mineral one?
GCG highflow ftw. You don't need a motor rebuild with forgies for that turbo. But I suggest you take the mods slowly but surely as you'll get bored too quickly!
Sorry 4dirty2, none of the guys I know live out that way - most of us are <5km from Gepps Cross...
Anyways we have confirmed 8 (if MattR is def in) so we have 2 spare places for anyone else who would like to join us to meet the maximum of 10 places.
Booking is at 8! We have confirmed 6, 2 more needed but there is room for 4 more as the total is 10! $45pp. Full GP with qualifying and race etc.
EDIT - 1 more needed, now that MattR is in Btw, rock up about 7:30pm !
Hey guys.
We got a Kart Mania GP EOI @ Gepps Cross happening here tonight. It'll be me, Iceduck and a few others so if you are keen, please post bacK!!
Yeah I had this problem too. Problem was that my front suspension was pretty much on bump stops so there was no real weight transfer to the front wheels under braking. Moreover if the surface was bumpy, the car would skip all over the place as the ABS is trying its best to slow the car. Threw out the shitty springs/shocks for a good set coilovers and the braking as improved dramatically, thanks to having a good amount of suspension travel and the spring rate is not as hard as before allowing weight transfer.
You probably ruined your O2 sensor by spraying that degreaser thru it. O2 sensors are not cleanable. I suggest you buy a new one, hopefully that'll help.
