  1. Without a doubt an external gate housing. Take it back or swap with the right one!
  2. Look forward to seeing the results. There hasn't been much info of these internal gate 3071s on smaller motors!
  3. It'll have a nice tuff scream but it doesnt have that over the top shrill (and ghey IMO) sound that the factory turbos have.
  4. If you have a stainless manifold, having a flex pipe helps reduce stress on the manifold when the motor moves around. Especially when thrashing.

  8. Lucas dusted to all hell for me. But they were an excellent street pad and I never got them to fade. Now that I've started doing track work and the Lucas ones were worn, I'm using Project Mu HC+ and they're excellent......
  9. I think its BS that a tuner would not let you look at the settings. After all, you _paid_ for this tune. Unforunately the PowerFC can only be unlocked with Power Excel or FC-Datalogit. No PIN # or anything.

  15. Can you post a semi side on pic, to see the angles of the spokes? Cos they differ between offsets/widths.
  16. I'd be keen but I'd rather not have to pay for pads cos I've got some fresh ones - I just want the rotor and bracket. Btw what sized/model # pad are you using to get the extra length?

  19. I had my manifold done at PowerKote a while ago. Was good for the money.
  20. Yes I have Function Xs and there is definitely a difference in dampening between each step. Whether its linear is another question though.
  21. Alberts dyno is pretty spot on IMO, I pull 252rwkw on Unigroup (reads almost identical to CRD's dyno) and his car kills mine on a roll on. Btw I don't think the 56T 71mm is too small. It pushes 48lb/min which is 480 crank hp on the old money. It definitely can flow some air.
  22. Disco, I'm somewhat skeptical of the twin scroll turbos. They sound great on paper but the dynos that have been posted over at FA have been less than stellar. Have you got any hard proof that the twin scroll is worth the extra effort and more importantly, the extra money?
  23. 100C is fine... I'd be gettin worried when its 120C+ as the oil starts to thin out considerably.
