    I'm going to buy a few extra Power Intake replacement filters as they are top notch. Quite sad to see them go. A few years ago they were definitely up there with the best. Why all downhill from then? They were the electronics king...

    I don't know what your bias is with +R Cubes? Have you got evidence to show that +R is actually any better? Its down to the quality of the disc rather than the format...

    Actually it makes no difference to the ECU where you ground it. Its about not introducing a spark near the battery - theres a small but real chance the hydrogen gas from a charging battery can cause explosions when you disconnect the leads. That's why they always say disconnect the earth away from the battery first.

    ^^ Its not about the horsepower. Its about the games. The PS2 has always outsold the XBOX even though it was technically inferior. And I call BS on the XBOX 360 being much more powerful than the PS3. Fanboi.

    Thats a terrible power curve despite the boost being consistant. I advise you to get an ECU as your next mod without a shadow of a doubt. (Seems the ignition timing is wacko in the top end as the AFRs aren't too wonky)

    Why more in the back? There's less weight there.... 36/34 cold works well for me. At 40psi I had wear in the center of the tread ie over inflated.

    Absolutely. Bought off JPL Displays. Whats also funny is that the surface had slight micro 'pitting' in places - usually as a result of the DVD stack being dropped and they sort of squash together. Ah well I am happy with my Verbatims. I get the 8x DVD packs for $27. Can't beat that!

    TY is overrated IMO. A year ago I bought 2 batches of the 4x DVD-Rs from JPL and they all had minor dye defects in them ie spotting. Sure enough where the spots occured correlated with PIE spikes. Overhyped to the max.

    Its actually much healthier and better for the battery to charge on a charger if possible. If the car is flat and its not an emergency, charge it on an external charger all the way. Otherwise even if you can spare 10-20 minutes it is worth it. The excess current when a battery is dead flat can shorten the life of it and also it puts excessive strain on your alternator.

    Yes 12V. All cars are. Its safe to jump start almost any vehicle. Its when twits short circuit the jumper leads etc thats when problems happen.

    Ah damn SK. I wish I knew you were going to develop something for the Silvia chassis! Bah splurged a heap of cash on some Zeal coilovers only a few months ago (mainly to address the issue of lack of front suspension travel). What spring rates have you decided to go with? PS If you have this going on ns.com it would be hot cakes... if you need assistance I'll be happy to as I am a sponsor mod.

    I had 195rwkw on my old S14 with the stock injectors and MAF. The MAF had plenty more to go. It can probably read 250rwkw of air judging by the voltage headroom. But it sucks because its so small. Anyways the stock ECU is your biggest enemy in the S14 - it R&Rs something chronic when pushed so its best to bin it for something. Its not hard to get 190+ rwkw out on an S14 SR with the stock turbo. Just smart mods.

    1. Ditch Bitlord and use Bitcomet or uTorrent. I prefer the latter and they are IMO the best programs to use. Azureus is bloatware. 2. I don't think there is any app that does this in freeware...

    Yeah. Oil sitting in your sump for a year is almost like it sitting in an oil bottle for a year. It should be fine.

    In my experience the 040 is louder than the 044. The 044 is quiet most of the times.. some real hot days it buzzes away but the 040 was just "warbling" away no matter what the conditions..
