First of all i only brought a block with billit main caps, girdle and sump adaptor fron rob at rips thinking the same as you Paul but let me tell you add all my own parts and machining up and Robs on the money. rb30 block and crank $100 argo rods $1600 je custom pistons $1500 tomei oil pump $2500 ati dampner $1000 timing belt $100 bearings $250 high volume sump $1500 main studs $350? new tensioner and idler $250? cant remember exactly n1 water pump $325 lower timimg belt pulley{ on crank } $90 machining of block consisted of the following: line bore deck bore and hone grind crank cryo crank nitride crank cryo block fit new welch plugs all of the above cost me $2600 That all adds up to $12165aud correct me if im wrong. Some of you may say you can get parts cheaper but thats what i paid for everything. Rob sells his 4wd billit main cap bottom end i saw on this thread for under $17000nzd convert $17000nzd to aud today and you will pay $13693aud for this bottom end right? Which leaves us with $1528aud difference between robs complete bottom end and my comlete bottom end. But i havent allowed for a sump adapter so $1528aud for billit main caps and a chromemoly adapter plate really is DIRT cheap. Have you seen his 4wd billit main cap bottom end? There is 75 fasteners holding the bottom end together. So my friends im happy to say that Rob is on the money with his complete bottom ends and as for him doing things 3 times as slow as Paul well i think Rob has run 8.40S and Paul has run 9.90s. ha ha Again i would like to thank Rob for all his help and wouldnt hesitate recomending him to anyone Paul

  3. I am getting a gear box built so i will take it to the track once thats sorted out prob a month or so. I brought the 4wd billit main cap block fron rips but the crank rods pistons and pump were mine. The fuel system is a nismo lift pump a 5 lt custon surge tank with 3 x 044 pumps -10 fuel lines and sard 1000cc inj. Brakes what are they? STANDARD a chute will pull it up ha ha ha na im going to put some alcons on it when i have the money.
  4. As i said before the car drives really well for the power it makes.we all know you cant use 550kw on the street so as for anything over 350kw being usless your right. But i built the car to race on a wed night street meet at the drags on radial street tyres. No its not a race car if anyone wants to go for a cruise im more than happy to go Paul i dont know why they didnt have it in shoot out mode ill ask and let you know Thanx

  7. HI Yea its a street car but i do have plans to drag race it once i get a gear box sorted for it. belive it or not it drives extemly well except for the triple plate clutch. cheers Paul

Hey Guys Just had my r32 gtr dynoed R.I.P.S rb 30 billit main cap block stock crank argo rods custom je pistons rb26 head by rams hypertune plenum twin hks 3037s turbos Car made 553.5kw at 4 wheels on shell 98 pump fuel 24psi boost it feels insane on the street makes full boost by 5000rpm and pulls till rev limit 9000rpm We still have nitrous and race fuel to play with so we will see how we go.

  10. 60k thats a bargain to make an extra 200hp atw compared to when it had the crd 2.7 in it. since the 2.7 is tired and no longer of use i would be interested in purchasing it so please if its for sale shoot me a pm thanx Paul

  16. Hey boyz i have completley removed my hicas, all the lines so all i have left is my power steer pump and steering rack how do i block off the hicas lines or do i have to get a different pump i want it as neat as possible. thanx in advance Paul
  17. Hey boyz Just fitted mt 30/26 to my r32 gtr and my bonnet will not close I have cut the frame out and the rocker cover still hits the bonnet skin. Any ideas also i have spaced the back of the bonnet up about 7mm. Thanx in advance Paul

  20. Thanx boys I have spoken to someone who can build one to handle 1000hp and the gtr transfer case will bolt straight up. we will soon see if its posible Thanx Paul

  22. Hi i have a auto trans out of a 96 rs four and i need to know who the manufacturer of the gear box is so i can try and find some hard parts to rebuild the box and make it stronger. i want to put it into a r32 gtr thanx in advance Paul
