  6. If you dont want to rev it hard just go for the normal adapter plate. the bottom end will cost you the same as a 26 to build. Adapter plate is somewhere around $1000 But if you want to rev it mine owes me about $14000 thats a R.I.P.S billet main cap bottom end.
  7. For all the people that arnt interested in making " BIG " power you should pull your rb26 out and put an rb20 in for fuel economy. Lets face it if your building a forged rb engine your doing it to make power right? So if this is the case you cant go past the 30/26 MONSTER

  9. No i meant the billet main cap bottom end has a sump adapter but can only be used on R.I.P.S s billet main cap bottom end and you cant use this sump adapter with a standard girdle. Im not sure if they make just a standard sump adapter like pro engines one.
  10. Ok there are 51 bolts that hold the bottom end together. Sorry The sump adapter is made to suit the billet main caps. I dont think you can buy just a sump adapter plate but im sure Rob could confirm.
  11. The R.I.P.S rb30 bottom end has billet main caps and over 75 bolts that hold the bottom end together. A nitrided,cryoed crank,grub screwed and balanced and there you have it.
  12. T04GTR There is no difference if its a 26 or 30 the pump is a 26 one anyway if rpm are gooing to kill an oil pump its going to die regardless. Unless your going to rev your 26 to 12000rpm lol
  13. just remember boys revs are what kill engines. So if you can make the same power with less revs and less engine wear then why not? A 3l BTW give me a billet 3l crank and a R.I.P.S billet main cap bottom end and il go rev for rev with you all the way to 12000rpm if thats what you like doing. but i cant see the need
  14. Who needs to rev their rb to 12000rpm? Build a 30/26 rev it to 9000rpm and make 553.5 kw at 4 wheels on pump fuel. And hang the fu{k on. YEA MATE.......

  16. Like posted already here dont make a decision till you have been in a 30/26 the difference is massive.

  24. Ive actually run 7s but not in a gtr ha ha I wasnt being a smart ass Paul sorry if i came across like that all im saying is i thought the same as you and most others,that $17000nzd is a bit rich but when you work it out its not really. I will race as soon as my box is done im not scared ha ha
