  1. In the R33 on the rear shelf is a fuel pump box that regulates the current for the fuel pump no one seems to mention that? Have people just removed this ? On a 95, R33 should i need to re-wire the whole pump or just replace the battery earth and possibly fit an engine bay earthing kit?
  2. The r34 Neo block has solid tappets so i dont think it will work. I know the valve clearances are different
  3. I have an R34GTT engine in an R33 and the second throttle butterfly keeps on clising as if the traction control has come on. I dont have any form of traction control moved across in the conversion does any on know where i should start to look? Thank you
  4. So what is the Stock fuel pressure?
  5. Also while the coilpacks are out get some fine sand paper and remove the spring from the coil pack normally pulling should pop it out. Gently sand both ends of the spring to remove and deposits then roll up the sand paper and sand the inside the coil pack where the spring sits. It should now change from a tarnished colour to a nice and shiny colour. push the spring back in and replace the coil packs and not will spark a lot better. Also addin a grounding kit will improve the sparking as well
  6. will be interesting to see the results on this
  7. how can you test the fuel pressure regulator? would a faulty FPR cause the fuel pump to constantly prime? i have problems starting but drives fine till 5krpm when is slputters. running .8bar on AVC-R with Tesco 99 ron or shell v-power(99 ron) hks pod filter and hks hi power exhaust, 1 grade colder plugs please help!!
  8. Foznice is right the air forcing its way back past the compressor wheel makes the noise as it comes out the filter. In the uk all the fords ( fiesta rs and escort rs and cosworths) make that noise with just a filter bolted on the turbo
