Anyone Had Their Car Resprayed Black?

Hi Guys, First time poster, I honestly do not know anything about car paint, however my R34 is red and I want to do something with the colour, maybe respray with a pearl, can someone outline my options when it comes to working the car colour? Look forward to any reply. Nick
