  1. +1 on colour being awesome. Are you from WA man?
  2. I have the middle one but it sits too far forward. The bottom one is a custom one.
  3. Replacing the bushes is a big job, you have to drop the whole ass end/subframe out and either burn them out or get them pressed out and then the new ones pressed in. I got a set of those subframe rings/collars (not JJR but basically identical) and all you have to do is lower the subframe about an inch or two, very easy to DIY and great improvement for the money.
  4. I haven't quite got my head around it all... I'm not sure if there's A, B and C mounts for EACH car (Skyline and Silvia) or just those 3 mounts that universally are used on both chassis. Here's a pic (all are facing the same way), seems like I need the top mount. Sorry to hijack the 32 thread with completely confusing and boring content.
  5. S13 type C crossmember is apparently what I have on my car already. f**k this is doing my head in. Wasting time and money and getting no where.
  6. Yeah fabricating something to fit is the best bet but I can't weld and don't have any time to take it anywhere haha. I think I'm going to get an S13 one this afternoon and see if it fits.
  7. Ahk, previous owner did the conversion on my car and I got pinged at the pits for the crossmember not bolting up to all 4 holes. It sounds pretty picky but I'd like to fix it anyway regardless of the defect. Just learning now about all the RB crossmembers (A, B and C) and S13 crossmembers as well (also A, B and C). I have done some research and looks like most people say an SR20 manual crossmember (labeled 'C') fits.
  8. Anyone here done R32 auto > manual conversion? What crossmember are you using?
  9. Might help if you post up some widths, offsets, pics and a price.
  10. Hey sorry to hijack a bit. Quick question about the Tomei strut brace. Did you ever have it mounted on a GTS-t? I just managed to get my hands on one and wanna know if you have any pics of it mounted? (just where it goes onto the firewall). Good luck with the sale, awesome parts.
  11. Champion PM sent
  12. Need 2 front splash guards for the front guards (left and right) if anyone has some to lend me or to sell me. This is ridiculous that I need these to pass the pits.
  13. I would widebody the rear too... would look awkward otherwise.
  14. I needed spacers...
  15. The GT-V model came with an LSD and most of the GT-t bits. (brakes, suspension etc) If yours is a regular 25GT I assume you're going to have an open diff. Jack the rear of the car up and spin one of the wheels and just observe which way the other side spins. If it spins in the same direction as the one you're spinning, it's an LSD. Well if not, it's obviously open. And so in that case if it IS open, you should expect to pay somewhere around the $200-400 mark for an R33 ABS diff. The 25GT uses all R33 suspension and diff parts, not sure why. Not really sure what labour would cost you as it's something most people do at home if it's a direct swap but if you're not confident in doing it yourself maybe someone else has some info to share on who did it for them. I would highly suggest shimming the diff to get it a bit tighter before it goes in. Very cheap and effective.

    Shell V-Zone

Argh, none of them are near me. I'm in Inglewood. Hope the Shell at Highgate gets it soon. I used to use V-Power in NSW so I'm keen to get back to using it as I was never disappointed.

    Shell V-Zone

Which Shell locations are carrying V-Power already?
  18. August 14th.
  19. A common width/offset for a lot of japanese rim makes for the GT-R is around 17x9.5J +12 (TE37, CE28N, Nismo LMGT4, Enkei RPF01, etc etc). You could run a 265/40R17 on that and I think it would fit nicely.
  20. Yeah just about every state has a law stating you aren't permitted to use driving/fog-lights unless in foggy/adverse conditions. Never really understood why... probably due to the fact they might be a bit glarey. And yes they do fine you for it. That said, look at my avatar. Those lights inside my headlights are considered my driving lights/fog lights but I seem to get away with it because cops assume they are the normal headlight (but the headlight is to the left of that).

    Rising Sunday

So you just sat there and copped it? I would have had my fair share of the argument there and then on the spot.

    Rising Sunday

The f**k? This is ridiculous. And the purpose of this was...? It doesn't make any sense to me. So your car was flagged for being a 'hoon' vehicle but you never did any hoon-like activities?
  23. bubba if it slightly hits with 17x9 +30 it's going to be worse with 18x8 +40...
  24. Well the stock rim on those brakes is 17x8 +30 BBS mesh rims (note some style of rims at this offset and width may end up hitting the caliper. I am sure something like a 17x9 +20 would be perfect to fill out your guards and clear the caliper. I would personally choose the style of rim you're after firstly, and then see what's available from there.
