  1. Hey guys who went to Nelson Bay today. Cheers for meeting up with Brent and I in Newi. Was good to meet everyone. Was kinda unimpressed when we left Bar Beach carpark when pretty much everyone gave it some up onto the main rd spinning. I know it wasn't much more than a few of you revving and spining up your wheels a bit but I copped a whole lot of shit from the woman walking past while I was waiting for traffic when I didn't have any intention to rev or spin my wheels. Go ahead and give it some onto the highways during the cruise etc but through town (especially at a carpark where a lot of people are running, walking, doing exercise) and to these people they just instantly label us all as hoons, it doesn't really prove anything to anyone. Sorry guys that's just how I felt So next time if we could keep that to a minimum I think everyone will be happy -Jimmy.
  2. Same. What is the stock exhaust diameter on the RB20DE/RB25DE? I've never actually checked myself but assumed it was 2".
  3. That is just absolutely insane. Went through the whole thing and it was definitely worth it. I have to say, when I started reading his intentions of the build I just KNEW he would send it to the US.
  4. This is wrong technically I think. You won't be 'losing' power, you'll just be sacrificing a bit down low, but gain a little bit more up high.
  5. Rekin, don't think you've got it entirely right mate. In your calculations you haven't factored in the width of rims. 16x6.5 +40 are your stock GTS-t wheel specs. 16x8 +53 will stick out 6mm more than your stock wheel specs, however the inside of the rim will sit 32mm closer and I'm guessing this will then be hitting your suspension. Try this offset calculator instead: http://www.1010tires.com/WheelOffsetCalculator.asp I think more to the point, where and why did you find a rim that has +53 offset? In my opinion you'd be better off looking at something like 17x8 +25 and 17x9+30.
  6. Like most others said, I don't necessarily like painted dashes but you pulled it off! Looks good I like it.
  7. Do they look like these Impul seats? Impul brought out the 'R33R' which had slightly different interior and exterior add ons.
  8. My R32 doesn't have a rear wiper Thanks to it being a GTE model (pretty much bottom of the range). I like it better without. I also have the option front 'auto-spoiler', although this didn't come with the car. I sourced it to buy intentionally and ended up buying one with the motors for $30. I never hooked up the motors though, I just fitted it straight to the front bar. I also have the factory option weather visors that go above the doors, got these from Japanese Yahoo Auctions. These for 4dr are so hard to find. For rare/unusual modifications I have a genuine Nismo cup holder, nismo leather gear knob but not just any nismo gear knob, it's got the old style logo on it. My Recaro you could say is a rare model too, it's the Recaro SR3 'trail' model. I got 17" 5 stud Formula Mesh rims which are also very rare to come across. I love owning unique/rare/unusual items on my car.
  9. Just useless facts, the 4dr is 50mm longer according to these blueprints
  10. Hi mate also spotted you yesterday (Tuesday, I think?), I was turning right heading to Broadmeadow and you were heading towards the Stadium. I waved, cheers for the wave back (I was in the R32 4dr)
  11. Depending on price I'm also keen for a pair...
  12. Same, plus more And another one of the lights too.
  13. For what model Skyline? R33?
  14. ^^ Fail. That's an S1. Here's an old pic of my car with them. -Jimmy.
  15. Would I be able to get the VIN? NissanFAST should be able to tell me the factory paint code that came out with it.
  16. The car was sold in November last year.
  17. I can't find a straight answer for this question. Anyone wanna shed some light and give a definite answer? Cheers.
  18. Could you please either PM me some pics of the half-shafts, or send them to my email: [email protected] Cheers.
  19. I'm inclined to say it's the AFM playing up. There's a few methods of repair. Either simply spray carby cleaner (or similer) into the mesh, to clean the sensor. If this doesn't work some people say opening it up and re-soldering the joints works. I did both of these to my AFM, neither worked. I replaced the AFM with another second hand one and then no more cutting out. My car's NA but it still sounds like the same problem.
  20. Pics of when it used to be pink? Pics of it now? Cheers.
  21. No he means focus on a little bit better quality brands such as Bilstein, TEIN, Cusco and whatever else nisskid tells you
  22. It's a 'VERY RARE OPTION', so I couldn't find pics on Google.
  23. Yep BBS LM is right. Not many sets floating around Australia, probably best to try Japan (Yahoo JP etc).
