  1. Ah yep that'd be the one, it was parked right opposite to Frontline. Looks clean. I nodded a guy just getting out of his Maroon R32 GTS-t coupe in the Glendale centre carpark today around 1pm. Got a nod back
  2. Spotted a white R34 4dr on King st today and a black R32 4dr on Hunter st.
  3. Unbolt tail-shaft. Unbolt half-shafts. Unbolt diff and lower down on a jack. Be easier with 2 people.
  4. I spotted a white 34 which I waved (he waved back) on Myall Rd yesterday, could be the same one? Also spotted you on Park Avenue yesterday James, you surely saw me ?
  5. Jason how the fk do u get a wave here in Newcastle and I don't? hahaha no one waves me, especially in glendale. you were lucky.
  6. I have SSR Formula Mesh in 5 stud and 17". This combination of this rim is very un-common/rare I think and they are such a nice rim.
  7. What are the sizes and offets of the rims and what size tyres are on them?
  8. Does R32 include 4dr aswell?
  9. GTS-t rims are 6.5" wide and +40 offset. GT-R rims are 8" wide and +30 offset.
  10. As long as your diff is in good condition it won't be louder no.
  11. It'll fit R34 coupe or sedan.
  12. Definitely sounds like your AFM needs replacing. About the 'gearbox' issue, one or both of your tail-shaft cv joints might be buggered, or possibly the centre bearing which is located half way inbetween the tail-shaft might be gone. My tail-shaft had huge amounts of play in it and a knocking sound under acceleration and deceleration. It turned out to be the cv joints AND centre bearing all shat itself. I ended up getting a custom 1 piece tail-shaft made up to resolve all of those problems.
  13. A good cheap way to have a tighter diff is retain the stock LSD, but 'shim' it up. By adding extra preload shims (which are around $10 each), the diff will be a lot tighter. From factory you are supposed to have two 0.80mm shims inside the diff centre. So that's a total of 1.60mm of preload. You can use this guide here to show exactly how to shim your diff. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Di...l=shimming+diff There's a lot of discussion on what shims should be used, I ended up buying the shims from my local Nissan dealer. I ended up having 2.45mm of preload. It skipped the inside wheel pretty bad for about a week and then it loosened up just a tad. Still feels very firm is very predictable when driving or drifting. Just have a read of that tutorial link and it may give you some ideas. -Jimmy.
  14. They aren't really my taste for a Skyline... but I did search for you anyway. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/La...rs-t206713.html
  15. So what happens if we pay and they don't get 30 entrants?
  16. umm... what police attention? I've never had a problem with cops in Newcastle and never seen one at Dixon park.
  17. Just after a set of good extractors for RB25DE (R32). I'm in Newcastle, NSW but I'm willing to pay for postage from wherever they are. PM me or reply here. Thanks, -Jimmy.
  18. Yeah the non turbo R32's Nissan released came with CA18i, RB20E, RB20DE, RB25DE. The variant with RB25DE engine is called the GTS25. I have an RB25DE in mine however it's the GTE model (came with RB20E originally) but the genuine ones are out there.
  19. Sent a PM yesterday. I want the bonnet. Thanks.
  20. Your standard R32 GTS-t rims are most likely 16x6.5jj +40 offset I think. The GT-R rims are 16x8 +30 so they will EXTEND an extra 29mm out from where the edge of your rim sits now. R33 GT-R rims would be the best bet I reckon, because they are another inch wider again, and are an inch bigger in diameter too. (17x9jj +30). Both look great however. -Jimmy.
