  1. Scottie were you the R32 GTR at the Newcastle JDMST meet last month?
  2. Also keen to know how these will fit nicely in my 4dr I know it can be done.
  3. There's a possibility it's the air flow meter too, mine was stalling and cutting out and a new (good conditon but second hand) AFM fixed it.
  4. Have you got coilovers? Is the ride height different each side slightly? (front or rear) Have the guards been modified at all? (maybe one has been 'rolled' and the other hasn't?)
  5. Spotted ANOTHER silver 4dr R34 in Cardiff this evening, looked like a GT-t, fairly stock. Pulled into the BP servo.
  6. Not trying to be picky or anything, just clarifying that the rims you have for sale are in fact not Advan AVS Model 5, but rather the Advan AVS VS-5. These are the Model 5's Free bump
  7. If I was to buy them they wouldn't be colour matched haha. I'd leave them in whatever colour I get them in. But was just hypothetically speaking, as most people want a matching coloured car. Anyways, that's not really what this topic is about lol.
  8. Thanks Rallye ^_^ I'm sure everyone would agree that a GTR front end (minus guards) would look better, but work out the average prices of those items (bonnet, grille, front bar, front bar reo) and then factor in the likelyhood of finding all of those items in good condition, along with paint and you find yourself quite financially unstable I have been trying to source some of those items over the past few months, wont be getting everything at once but I definitely want these items one day too
  9. Come to the Weekly Thursday night Skyline meets in Erina Kiera, a couple of us from Newcastle make the trip down every couple of weeks. You should come Old Pacific Highway run beforehand is optional but the main meet is at Erina Spotted a white R33 4dr in Warners Bay tonight.
  10. Each to their own I guess I love the simplistic and raw feel about the R32. This is my R32s Interior.
  11. I think the website you provided is the only place you're gonna be able to find the Cross Factory parts mate. I want the rear skirts for my R32 4dr and can find them no where! Very rare parts.
  12. Ah thanks for that! I knew those skirts looked a bit too common to just be N1 skirts alone.
  13. You're right about the grey one having standard skirts. They are 2pc. Standard GT-R And the ones on the blue car look aftermarket to me. I was fairly certain these were the N1 skirts if anything (see how it lips down at the back of the skirt) N1 Skirts The blue ones you pictured look like TRUST Aero parts. TRUST Skirts http://www.trust-power.com/08aerostyle/bnr32.html Here's a set on Yahoo Japanese Auctions. http://page12.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/p170077633 Here's the pods that should go with the skirts made by TRUST in the Gracer aero parts range. http://page13.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/r63401105 However there is a sideskirt which is made that is kind of in between the two that I pictured made by Bodyform and they call it the 'N1 style sideskirt'. The genuine N1 skirts look 3pc to me, where-as the Bodyform one looks 1pc. If you want these particular skirts then you are in luck because looks like they're in Australia. I think you'd be hard-pressed to find a genuine set of the N1 parts, or even the genuine TRUST items here in Australia. http://www.bodyformaero.com.au/catalog/pro...u1isigagbrraln4 Bodyform Skirts
  14. How are the N1 skirts different to just the usual R32 GT-R ones? Or are they the only factory option skirts that came on R32 GT-R's?
  15. I paid $9,000 for it, which for some people might sound a little steep but that was 3.5 years ago and it was well worth it in the end. I love my car. Interior was mint (still is), it had an RB20E from factory so an RB25DE and manual conversion was put in by the previous owner, it had Cusco strut brace, 5 stud conversion, LSD and I could see a lot more potential in the car. Nice buy on yours Tim
  16. You think you have any say in here? These are good quality, good size/offset and look good in some people's opinion so keep your useless comments to yourself.
  17. I can vouch for NA R32 being a great first car. They are very easy to learn to drive. Mine has the RB25DE. In regards to insurance, I guess it depends on who you decide to go with, in comparison to other cars its not that much different. My brother's R31 Australian delivered Skyline cost the same as my imported R32. Reliability wise mechanically, I've replaced the AFM which was no biggie, and I think the coil packs have just started to die now. If you service it regularly and take care of it, it will be fine. Fuel, well the last tank I got lasted me 450ish until the fuel light came on. Cops - don't act like a dick and you won't get pulled over, I haven't in the 3.5years I've owned mine.
  18. You can tell just by looking. I don't know an easy way to explain this so I have a couple of pictures, I hope you get the idea. Before - The lip usually sits parallel to the tyre. After - The lip is now 'rolled' or bent upward.
  19. For sure man, a roll and smaller tyre will do it easy. Looking good.
  20. White R34 has since been lowered at least another inch. My car unfortunately is at the lowest height on an old model of Tein Superstreets, I would be going lower if I could but I just can't afford it.
  21. Location? Condition? Pics?
  22. Are you sure about that? Because my friend here is running 18x9.5 +18 (7mm more than the above posted specs) with a 245/40R18 tyre. It needed a minor roll. And here I am running 17x9 +13 (6mm more than the above posted specs) with a 215/45R17 tyre. Also needed to be rolled. Neither of these examples are 'sunken'. With a 265 he will be running a nice enough stance
  23. 235's wont be exactly 'stretched' either. They'll be a little bit skinnier but won't be any crazy stretch. I think you'll be fine with a decent roll.
  24. Nardi make a nice 330mm wheel. I use one in my R32 (but it's not a GT-R). It does make the turning a little harder (I have used a 365mm Nismo) but you get used to that. They make these in Black with red stitching also, and in a dished (deep corn) variant too however the 330mm of these aren't as attractive as the 350mm deep corn.
