Newcastle And Central Coast Skyline Spotted Thread
-Jimmy- replied to -Jimmy-'s topic in New South Wales
Wish the NS.com cruise wasn't on the same day, I've already agreed to going to that haha. I would have loved to check out the Putty Rd. Never been. Most other skylines dont even look at me, sometimes I wave. If I see some of you guys round, I'll definitely wave. -Jimmy. -

Newcastle And Central Coast Skyline Spotted Thread
-Jimmy- replied to -Jimmy-'s topic in New South Wales
Spotted Silver R33 with plates BCFxxx and window visors at Glendale shops, also spotted a white R33 (female driver) looked like it had bronze Buddy Clubs or similar. -Jimmy. -
Hey, well I've decided to make a Newcastle Skylines Spotted Thread as I am frequently spotting skylines around all of Newcastle, but when posting in the NSW Spotted I don't even get noticed, it seems like a Sydney one to be honest. If the mods wanna edit it and make it "Official", they can, but I haven't labeled it as that just yet. So I'll start, I saw a grey R32 4dr yesterday driving into Westfield Kotara (just like mine), and a Pearl white R33 4dr also near Kotara Baby Co. -Jimmy.

Such A Thing As An R33 Gtr Nismo Seat?
-Jimmy- replied to Brokenz's topic in R Series (R30, R31, R32, R33, R34)
Yes Nismo DID bring out a seat for for the R32 GT-R, I have the catalog and part numbers. The colour is a bit out but I am fairly sure it's the same seat. When I look up close on my catalog I can see the red stitching too. They also brought out a RECARO Nismo seat but I don't have the catalog to that one, but I do have a picture of the catalog and found a pair on Yahoo Auctions aswell. Bottom left you can see the seat. And here they are here. http://page18.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/w30738865 So there you go -Jimmy. -
Saw a grey 4dr R32 like mine with black front bar (I think) going into Westfield carpark. Anyone know him? Shits me that SAU doesn't have a Newcastle Spotted thread Also saw a pearl white 4dr R33 near KFC Kotara. -Jimmy.

Hey everyone, I had my Nismo Steering wheel up for sale a couple of months ago, I had many interested buyers but every one fell through. This time I have the horn button going with the wheel to make the sale easier. I also have a Chrome Aluminium Gear knob for sale this time too. The combination of these two items looks great together. The Nismo steering wheel comes with a GENUINE Nismo boss kit too. This will fit majority of recent Nissans such as R31, R32, R33, S13, S14 etc. It is in good condition with a few marks here and there. Nothing too visible from face on. It comes with horn button. The diameter of the wheel is 365mm. The part number is 48400-RN140. I am asking $160 + post which is a great price. The Nismo gear knob is chrome/aluminium. It is also in good condition with a few marks in the top from the previous owner. Again nothing too visible until close up. The inner diameter is 10mm and will fit on majority of recent Nissans such as R31, R32, R33, S13, S14 etc. The part number is 32865-RN010-S I am asking $40 + post for this one. If you want both items I will be happy to lower the cost a little. I also don't rip you off on postage prices I accept paypal, or bank deposit and will send anywhere in Australia. Pictures! Steering Wheel Gear knob Thanks for looking and I look forward to your interest! -Jimmy.

Kakimoto Super N-GT made by SSR. They're actually a multi-stud, so 4 and 5 stud. In my case 5-stud. Thanks They are definitely unique, and not common. Great rim. -Jimmy.

Hey Everyone. Thought it was time I posted up a topic for my car. Haven't really updated anything since my first introductory thread (see HERE for my introduction post which explains how and why I got the car etc) So it's a 1989 Nissan Skyline GTE, with a manual and RB25DE conversion, along with 5-stud brakes, R200 diff etc. It was purchased in October 2005. A minor thing we did when we first got it was painted and cleaned up the brake calipers. Before After We also got it dyno'd, 115rwkw, pretty reasonable I think. Here is the progress of the Clarion Headunit and Front speakers. These were laying round from my sister's old Daihatsu Applause. No audio came with the car when purchased. Before Previous owner must have made these mounts, personally don't like them. Trying to source stock covers at the moment. After The rim centre's weren't in excellent condition so we decided to get them sandblasted and powdercoated in black. Also got the plates MI11NT, I don't like them anymore so when rego comes up I'm going to get RB25NA I think. And then we did suspension, we put new Polyurethane bushes in the front caster arms and front upper arms, and a few months after that got TEIN super-street coilovers. They're actually on their lowest setting, but I think it's great. Sits nice. Cat up to no good. Another one of the cat And then we got some better speakers for the front + tweeters (Pioneer) and moved the Clarions to the rear. Not a great pic of the speakers but meh. Not much happened for a while, but recently I got a new headunit. No pics of that installed. Also got a Genuine Nismo Steering Wheel and boss kit. I love the old style Nismo Logo. And 2 days ago I got a Genuine Nismo Aluminium Chrome gearknob, however it isn't the type you can buy now, it's a discontinued part and has the old style logo engraved in it. Pics to come. That's about all the progress on my car I guess. My plans now are to get Nismo Cupholder (rare) but just purchased one Side Window visors Fix + Paint front Aero bar and then purchase the matching Aero pods for a full Factory Aero kit. Brand New Nardi Wheel (with Nismo horn button) Mount rear plates at angle (and get RB25NA) Stock door speaker covers and mounts. Vacuum clean interior with one of those powerful chemical ones Buff + polish + wax and all that stuff (easy done, just need to put the effort in haha) Put some new Blue LEDs in the dash cos some of the ones now fell out due to the people putting the alarm system in Thanks for looking at my 4-door R32 Skyline Updates to come hopefully ^.^ -Jimmy.

^^ Says the vid's been taken off by the user mate. My 4door NA. -Jimmy.

Hey, does anyone know how to search for the factory options available for each model (such as aero options etc) and how to get the illustrations of them? Thanks, -Jimmy.

For the Newcastle people out there (btw why can't we have our own thread? This one seems very Sydney based. ) Spotted a nice Pearl White R33 4 door out near Wallsend at about 3:30 I guess. I was in a grey R32 4 door at the round-a-bout and my brother was behind me in the white R31 -Jimmy

Holden: The Car Of Choice For Hoons
-Jimmy- replied to bombtrack's topic in General Automotive Discussion
I have to agree with the Commodore thing haha. I would have thought it would be more like 70% of hoons are commodore drivers. I rarely see an import hooning and when I do they probably previously owned a commodore and their car has bad offset, bad wheels and is not a nice car at all -
Nsw: Genuine Nismo Steering Wheel + Boss
-Jimmy- replied to -Jimmy-'s topic in For Sale (Private Car Parts and Accessories)
It may sound useless yes, but as a matter of fact I've had at least 3 people already who don't mind about it. I thought it may be hard to sell without it and I wasn't that desperate, however it turns out I had a fair bit of interest. Payment is pending. Will update when officially sold. -Jimmy. -
Hey Everyone, Up for sale I have a Genuine Nismo Steering Wheel with a Genuine Nismo Boss Kit also. It's the most attractive Nismo Wheel I have found (in my opinion). When I wanted it I searched for a long time to find one, so they are somewhat rare also. The condition is good, leather is still excellent all the way round. A nice wheel that stands out from all the Nardis and Momos! It looked great in my R32. I have one picture here, better pics showing the condition will come very soon. The Boss kit is also Genuine Nismo, although there are no markings on it to prove it. I bought it brand new from Yahoo Japan and it came in an authentic Nismo box. One thing, the horn button will not be included. Sorry I'm asking $150 for both (not posted), I'm located in Newcastle and will accept Paypal or Bank Deposit. Thanks, -Jimmy.
