Those copiers are great, but it won't help here. It's a bound booklet, so you can't feed it through or anything like that. Probably the best thing would be if somebody could be bothered to scan it in, and produce a nice pdf version. It's about 280 pages and they're short and wide so that you can't fit 2 of them on an A4 copy, so copying/scanning is going to take a while... Lets not forget credit should really go to JPNZ who translated the thing, they do deserve some reward (like people buying it!) for helping out Jap import owners. AU$45 is maybe a bit much to ask I guess, but we want to encourage companies doing this sort of thing by supporting them. Meanwhile I'm happy to lend my copy

This is the one I bought: http://www.jpnz.co.nz/xcart/customer/produ...12&cat=8&page=3 It covers all R33s, s1 & s2 and GTRs. pm me and you are welcome to borrow it for a while, it's a lot of pages to copy though! j

i just used longish bolts and a bunch of washers to bring it out, worked a treat! j

now i know why the dealer i bought mine from gave me some crappy little 6 page booklet. i bought the english converted manual from those nz people if anyone wants to copy/read (not really worth buying - but nice to have). j

I'm iPod-less I'm afraid. I'd like to put in a small computer or linux xbox eventually, but thats a long way off funding wise.

This has come up many times. There seems to have been a variety with various factory options etc. Do a search and you should find a bunch of threads mentioning this. j

Glad to hear. All you need to do now is make a nice cradle for the ipod!

That sounds familiar. I got the shits with my DEH-P6450 when I first got it with the same problem.

Black 33 series 2 turning into Tennant St Fyshwick this morning. (Not Ewen I don't think)

From the third picture it looks like you still have the flare too!

It's not too hard to get this going yourself, don't pay for the Pioneer connector. Check out this thread: Pioneer AUX Input Information Cheers, john

Pioneer Headunit AUX Input Help For anyone who has a Pioneer headunit and wants to hook up something to the auxillary input they read about when buying the headunit, there is a cheap way! I checked out the official Pioneer connectors and found that they're actually just tapping into the correct pins on the "P-Bus" connector. Cheaper Alternative Do it yourself! You can either make up some kind of connector, or just hook into the pins you need. The following is a partial pinout for the connector: I also managed to get hold of the schematic for the Pioneer CD-RB20 gizmo (1mb): http://users.tpg.com.au/johnkg/skyline/pio...0-schematic.jpg Info here: http://users.tpg.com.au/johnkg/skyline/pio...neer/index.html Cheers, john

i may have been the silver one, i went down hindmarsh to goodberry's at about 9.30, was parked in the carpark across the road (in the markets carpark) and saw two other R33s (both S1) parked in there. Also saw a red r33 at Tony Farrugia Bodyworks thismorning. (didn't look smashed up)

Check out this pictorial guide for more of an idea of where the bolts/clips are. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/sh...ad.php?p=794357 j

Quite the opposite. I was involved in a small rear end bump last year (not at fault). The other party claimed responsibility but they didn't have insurance, so I claimed it under my comprehensive with Famous. They let me choose the repairer, then had an assessor come and check out the car and ok the work. Everything was dealt with promptly and they paid up the repairer promptly too (so he told me). (obviously they should have been able to recover the money from the other party in this case - better them deal with all that than me though) I could only recommend them based on my experience, they beat any other premium I was able to find. John (I would suggest saving up and paying for a full year at once, when I enquired about monthly repayments upon my renewal they were going to charge me an extra 33% over the year!)

Where to get Skyline Serviced
jnr_j replied to r33skylinegtst's topic in Australian Capital Territory
I've had a few services done there. I have no complaints so far. I wouldn't buy any major replacement parts from them though, the quote they gave me for and exhaust wasn't great. They do seem reasonably professional though. -
I'm easy to spot, just look out for a silver 33 s2 with this on the passenger side small window: was waiting for someone to see it but no luck so far... John

Skyline R33 Rear Seat Removal Pictorial Guide You should see something like this with an obvious bolt on either side just below the base: Do this to both sides: The next step is the only tricky part. You have to pull the base of the seat up and out first, and on either side there is a metal loop stuck in a plastic type catch to hold the seat in place. One side at a time, you'll need to pull pretty much straight up around the area shown in red below. (The catch you're trying to prise free is seen below in blue). This can be hard to remove, in my experience you have to pull quite hard. You can push the middle seatbelt and buckles through the seat first to make things easier. You should now see something like this. Removal of the backrest is straightforward, just remove the bolt/screw on either side, slide the seatbelts on either side out of the way and then lift upwards and forwards. You just need to lift over the three hooks shown in red below. Remember to sit the backrest back up on these supports when you put things back in place. The quality back seats look something like this! http://users.tpg.com.au/johnkg/skyline/rea...eats/index.html John

I think you'll find there are already at least 2 :headspin: (ok, it's not black but there's nothing like a sexy S2 silver beast I say)

When I was parked there one day a month or so ago I went to have a peak at that 34 and it started beeping at me when I stood within a meter or two (no contact). Must have had some kind of proximity sensors watching the outside of the car (either that or the dude was watching me through some window somewhere!)

Hi all, I'm needing to replace the catback exhaust on my R33GTSt with a full turboback setup and am unsure of whether to go for a Jap bolt on setup or get an exhaust shop to make one up for me. Has anyone else done this recently? Recommendations of exhaust shops around Canberra? Any thoughts on the Jap vs custom exhaust issue? At the moment I'm leaning towards a Trust Power Extreme II (80mm) fron Nengun, and getting a 3" front/dump pipe and highflow CAT from BATMBL on this site. (Maybe someone recommends another Jap exhaust over the Trust?) $570 + $320 shipping for the exhaust = $890 $190 CAT + $250 front/dump = $440 Total = $1330 My car is fairly low too (current thing seems to be custom made and hangs down and scrapes a lot) and I'm thinking that I'm guarenteed to get a nice tight neat fit with a Jap prefab thing. Cheers, John
