  1. just recieved the gear and brake boots, thanks pablo101. Just wondering if anyone is finding the handbrake boot does not fit. Tried to put it in, gear boot went in smooth and fits better than the original however the hand brake boot is slightly smaller than the original and does not fit properly if at all and when you try to put the console back in it is really tight. Maybe i accidently got sent an r32 gear boot cover? i dont know. Is anyone else finding this. Peter
  2. if still availible consider it sold, check PM
  3. hey i got one it is abbroad minded personly awsome, looks great being so big, sounds sweet and very quite high flowing exhaust, thumbs up.
  4. Hi i am searcing for a set of s15 injectors and on nissansilvia.com they all say that s15 injectors are good to 200rwkw, i am after 250rwkw and have read on sau that they are a perfect match for that power and completly bolt on to the rb25det. Which power figure is correct and is it just because of the sr20 engine with 4 cylinders not 6 that it only puts out 200 rwkws. just want to clear that up before i get a set.
  5. hey i am new never been on a cruise, live in the shire so will meet you either down there or at engadine if you go that way, put me down.
  6. put me down for a set for an r33 thanks.
  7. for those interested i called up MTQ and precision turbo chargers today and found out the prices. MTQ - $1600 for a bush bearing high flow rated to 230 rwkw Precision - $1750 for a ball bearing high flow rated at 260 rwkw $1300 for a bush bearing high flow rated at 260rwkw (this includes oil line modifications) Maybe if enough people are interested we could organise a group buy with precision for the bush bearing, both places also said there is no need for a ball bearing unit it is just a waste of money and the extra spool up time is negligible. Hope this helps others.
  8. oh and mtq in sydney is out at wetheril park.
  9. fordyr31 you in sydney and are interested also maybe we can organise both of them get sent to mtq and maybe get a better deal hopefully worth asking anyway isnt it.
  10. Thanks everyone for all your input, and it is all good to suggest to get after market turbos, however maintaining stock looking turbo and the true bolt on feature is important for me also the response and as it has been said a high flow provides all 3 on monday i will call around for some prices and post results here for other to see. Thanks for all your input again and keep the places coming so far we have GCG, mtq turbos and precision turbos.
  11. thanks for all your replys people, i will look into it on monday when everything is open and i will post up the results about what people have to say about the best options. Peter
  12. that is the point to find the tried and proven products and even see what other not tried and proven people have to offer maybe they are worth it and are a quality product. If i can find someone who is willing to do the high flow and maybe build up a good reputation on here with there high flows at a comparable price to the slide ones.
  13. thanks for all your input and i know about yellow pages but i am after other peoples experiences also not just names of places. Is there anyone else interested and as for posting in the wrong place can it be moved if it bothers anyone.
  14. correct me if i am wrong but the r33 series 2 didnt come with an imobiliser, maybe a factory option? If i did we wouldnt have to spend all that money on one to insure the thing. Also i personally prefer the method of resetting the ecu using the diagnostic plug and shorting the 2 wires this way it also tells you if anything is wrong with your car via the flashing light in dash, also elimates the need to disconnect the battery and avoid any alarm issues.
  15. I am aware of those factors and know of gcg and precision. However surely there must be more places around australia that do them, also give expressions of interest as depending on how many people are ready for one i may go speak to precision and see what he can offer in the way of either ball bearing or journal bearing high flows, i know i read somewhere he does do them but they were slightly more expensive than slides however still cheaper than ball bearing maybe this could be another option.
  16. It seems that many of us, myself included are looking for a good quality, affordable turbo upgrade such as high flowing our own turbo like the service slide used to offer. Now that slide no longer offers this service to us. I just wanted to see if anyone out there knows of a place that could maybe offer a similar service to a slide high flow with similar pricing and turbo results, these places can be australia wide. Possibly we can approach such a place and organise a special price for sau members or even a group buy if enough people are interested because i am sure i am not the only one after a high flow and chasing the 250rwkw mark. We need another option like slide used to offer and it could be good for their bussiness also if they produce a quality reliable product by having members using their turbos and word of mouth on forums and the street maybe build a reputation as good as slides for his turbos. So in short this thread is to gather interest and ideas and hopefully organise some quality high flows at an affordable price. I am sure we can if we all put our knowledge and buying power together. So any ideas and interest post here. Aso if interested post when you would be considering high flowing your turbo.
  17. BUMP
  18. wanted to buy, good condition high flow turbo to suit an r33 rb25det. Thanks Peter
  19. hey dude thanks for the purchase hope it all goes well

  20. It is an Apexi Power FC and i do not believe it suits an auto, maybe have a look through the forum if they are gearbox specific units.
  21. I have a new unopened apexi power FC for sale to suit a RB25DET r33. I have this item in my hands ready to sell. Second hand ones for sale are around $1400- $1500 on average. so asking $1600 for this new one. PM me if interested
  22. Hi i own a R33 gtst and am trying to locate a power fc to suit but am finding it extremely difficult to find one as they are a discontinued line. Now my question is are there any other ecu options out that are comparable to a power fc ? If so what are they? Many thanks Peter
