  1. haha i remember sitting in the shade of peoples cars to escape the heat, dam expensive water on a hot day and dam tempting BBQ. Thats the exact same position as last year but we are parked next to the celicas this year, if only i could bring both cars down So is anyone else heading down earlier to put the tent up?
  2. extremely dirty (were you off-roading in mud puddles or something) white 33 GTR at the roundabout that leads to gunghalin on Barton HWY around 4:45pm
  3. I work in NSW, i worked today and was just calling these jerks bastards for getting the day off
  4. Enjoy your 3 day weekend you bastards
  5. cheers, im happy to rock up first and mark our territory as long as i know where to go. Dont want to be chased out by some knob telling me to take my ricenol powered car elsewhere.
  6. White 34 (possibly GTR, so much glare off the car haha) on Barton Hwy around 1:30pm
  7. go to his personal site, the baby pics of him are ripe for hilarity. quick, weak effort
  8. Its all graphics really, Guitar hero 3 has different secret characters and different guitar controllers across platforms but otherwise completly the same game
  9. So... any word on a map/ layout yet
  10. The game is to be released later this year. This video sums it all up http://www.battlefield-heroes.com/video Looks like a cross between TF2 and Battlefield, sitting on the wing of a plane shooting at other cartoon people on a plane looks hilarious. Can't Wait
  11. ^^ That was pretty insane, they were way too close to it though This is a Parody of a popular vid (Charlie Bit Me) released last year: Original - http://au.youtube.com/watch?v=_OBlgSz8sSM&...feature=related Parody - http://au.youtube.com/watch?v=yFshN8Kt8yg Haven't laughed this hard in a long time.
  12. Dont mean to hijack the thread but i noticed you are from the A.C.T. If you are interested I live in canberra and will be selling my car at the end of this month after having a major service including the 100,000km service, a new clutch, new fluids, all belts, new filters etc. It is completly stock (excluding exhaust, 3" HKS super silent model) and has always been reliable to me as a daily driver. First Australian owner (bought from private importer in Melbourne Sept 06 at 74,000km, now at 98,000km) and serviced every 5,000km Again, didnt mean to hijack, just came across this thread and thought i'd throw it out there On topic though, if you want to save money then buy a car that is already modified. If you want a blank canvas to create what YOU want, buy a stocker. That car looks really worn out, i'd say avoid and keep looking.
  13. haha cant wait for video just to see the look on his face. Had the shocks in the celica replaced on wednesday. Having a look at the old ones afterwards we saw that, 2 were replaced atleast 10-15 years ago, 1 in the past 5 years and the other was the original, 31 year old shock, you could not even pull it back into position. It created a hilariously bumpy ride, launched passengers out of their seat haha
  14. mate (my grandpa always talked about his 'china plates'. Took me a long time to understand what the hell was going on)
  15. haha should be enough, i soaked mine, waited 20 mins then another soaking, 1 hour later they came off fairly easily. Are you doing this on the ground or in a workshop? Also once you get the cat-back sections off make sure you rev the car for shits and giggles
  16. forgot about the wd40, i used about 3/4 of a can of that stuff haha.
  17. white 33 and silver 33 on Barton HWY around 6pm haha dam, would of just missed you star, could of spotted the crown
  18. Dont know if it was just me imagining things but i get less kms (reading from trip meter) from a tank of caltex then mobil or bp (in the celica)
  19. haha, good luck with the exhaust sensor and the O2 sensor if they have never been removed. I had to pay a workshop to remove them they were so ridiculously tight. I took everything from the cat back off in one go then the dump and front together. Heat shields off first from memory then the 6 bolts attached to the dump (2 from bottom, 3 from top and 1 from either side) Watch out though, they are very brittle, would recommend replacing them when you put on the new exhaust. What kind of exhaust btw?
