Well i went and bought SPORE, got the last instore copy for $99.95. Apaprantly its been out since monday. I'd say its to undercut the online sellers (99.95 on release day or save $25 and buy it online a week later)

how much were EB selling it for? A few online stores are asking $75 including postage, want to know if its worth buying now at EB or waiting till next week to receive it through the post

A mate of mines older brother was in Rush Hour back in late 90s. Apparantly it was a social car club (like canberra cruises) who would cruise around or do burnouts etc. until a group of them broke into a tyre shop and trashed the place and tagged "Rush Hour" all over the walls. After that police came down on everyone with rush hour stickers on their cars and it pretty much disappeared. Thats all i remember about it, probably more to it then that. No idea why but its come back in the last 12 months or so. They usually meet in Phillip (near the ice skating place) and cruise down to Tharwa and do burnouts, a few mates of mine have been going for the last few weeks

Sunday? Was that you in the soarer? My car was being a jerk, was just before i did the points and it was constantly stalling so i had to watch the tacho while pumping the accelerator (too much and it backfired through the carby, too little and it stalled). Glanced up for a second and 2 people in a soarer were staring at me. Points fixed now though, all is well in the universe

woo! Changed the points for the celicas dizzy and it actually accelerates up hills now! No more surging or backfiring either! Surprisingly zippy car now, i always thought it was just meant to be a slow car because no matter what was fixed/replaced it would only get around 40hp and run like crap, turns out it was just worn points. Still no skyline but atleast i can keep up with you guys, provided theres no speeding

haha, finally had a look at the route. Should be hilarious with the 28, i literally cannot accelerate up hills in any gear above 2nd... Probably best if i sit at the back, also theres that whole Toyota thing aswell

bah, i was stuck in line at Belco bunnings when it snowed (literally started as i entered the queue and stopped as i left the store, i felt robbed) Also i started riding my bike to work last week, takes a good 30 minutes for my face to un-numb but im saving $150 a fortnight on petrol and parking

Yea i wouldn't buy it if i didnt have a steering wheel setup or used to play it back in high school at the arcade. 3/10 without steering wheel 8/10 with steering wheel

Finally hooked up my steering wheel for Initial D... Perfect. The game was pretty disappointing with the controller but its like being in an arcade with the steering wheel, honestly would not bother buying this game without one. Almost finished the game, stuck on Bunta

As long as the cruise route has no hills and you guys dont boost it hard (my 40kw of Toyota power is lacking), I'll go in the 28 if im welcome (at least dattos Z has an RB in it ), so lonely since i sold the skyline haha.

Finally got Initial D for PS3. It arrived wednesday but shitty post office times meant i couldnt pick it up till monday. So much fun, a bit weird with the controller though (havent hooked the G25 up yet)

f*#(ed over by Optus again.... We moved back to canberra and wanted to stay with Optus for our internet so we called them up and asked them to transfer our account over but at the same time upgrade our account to 70gb plan. 2 weeks of down time later (we got charged during this period aswell, apparantly we downloaded 1gb while not connected to the internet) we got setup with a 7gb plan that had an additional cost of 15c per mb we go over the limit. We were not told about this lower limit or excess download charge. Last months bill we were 3gb over our limit. We call up and complain and they 'correctly' set us up with a 20gb account (apparantly there is no such thing as a 70gb plan), half way through this month we find out we are still on the 7gb plan and are currently 1.5gb over with over a week to go before the plan resets. Optus are jerks and i would not hesitate in running over their first born children
