  1. When did you get your P-plates? -In ACT the p-plater cut off for V8 and turbo cars was june or july 2006. -Transfer of rego is fine but depends on when you got you P-plates if it can be registered under your own name, either way if you drive it and get caught you get slapped with a fine -Fairly lenient (much more then Vic) -Depends on driving record, most major companies wont insure a p-plater with a turbo car and won't even list you as a driver on someone elses policy so you will have to go with Just Cars, Young and Cool etc. where there excess is triple the original policy. -Wait till after Uni to have the car, unless you're one of those lucky bastards whose parents pay their way through uni , might be hard but the car will be a money pit, you will want newer and nicer things for it and you will spend more on the car then you originally planned. Petrol wise they aren't too bad and if you aren't hammering around on boost all day a turbo car is generally more fuel efficient then an N/A.
  2. i know theres a video thread but this thread needs to stay up and this video is holy crap awesome! Even if you're not a fan of graffiti art, the amount of time and effort that would of gone into this is impressive on its own.
  3. I have a series 2 spoiler attached to the boot already (removed from my series 2, replaced with gtr spoiler and boot) for sale located in Canberra, $250. Painted in white (QM1) with working brake light, gas struts etc. All you would need to do is unbolt your boot, take it off, put this one on and put the same bolts back in, plug in brake light and your set, 10 minute job maximum.
  4. no ticket and mistaken details of car, both can be explained by boobs
  5. haha i was reading it casually thinking oh yea, typical grammarly retarderised person and then that last line hit me. Still laughing
  6. if i could ride a hayabusa without killing myself i would be, but thats not the case. Im bad enough on my 125 dirtbike in the paddocks let alone some ridiculously powerful road bike haha
  7. Up you go. New tyres should be on this week if i can get the time away from work
  8. Bugger, 1 day later and i would be jobless and able to make it. Miss out on paintball again
  9. I didn't know cars actually set on fire when they rolled. I could imagine a car with carburettor might but this was a fairly recent Ford that would of ignited immediately after rolling (he left work at 7:30, 10 minutes to drive to where he crashed, called my boss at 7:45)
  10. This whole editing thing is ridiculous, thread looks so messy and spammed up... anyway, heres another interior picture
  11. Price drop down to $15,000 and going up on Carsales.com.au tomorrow.
  12. haha, i still dont know how he does that, people say its soapy ground but either way its impressive Keeping this thread up there, a guy from my work had a massive crash last night. Basically he was driving home along the back road and a painters tarp was left on the road, he saw it at the last moment and panicked thinking it was a cow on the road so he swerved and over corrected, his tyre hit the dirt shoulder and threw him into a ditch, rolling his car and setting it on fire with him still in it, luckily his door was still able to be opened and he wasn't knocked out because from what i saw this morning it was an inferno. Everything not metal had been melted off and all that was left was a steel shell in a large burntout patch of grass. He was so shocked at the time that he didn't even know he had rolled and still denies it (despite caved in roof) and before getting out of the car he had tried reversing out of the ditch while it as on fire. Crazy stuff
  13. oo gunghalin, enjoy the wind
  14. haha i actually do want to now, it feels so... tight, for lack of a better word. It feels pretty much like a brand new car. Are you getting rid of the crown already Karl Buy a 22/23/28 for a run around Moving to ainslie, don't even know where ainslie is :X Pretty sure its near the city so that sounds ok. Its in the BB08 thread in the wasteland, links and posts deleted, it was censored with minimal sized smiley faces. The annoying thing is it means all the paddock bashers have to go, Jamie had almost rebuilt the carby for Ben's corona but now the car has to go...
  15. well to keep this wasteland in the front page. I get to move back to Canberra next month! Kind of annoying though seeing as i buy a skyline then move out to the country then as i put it up for sale i move back to the city... Ohwell, no more freezing mornings, running over rabbits, dodging kangaroos, getting woken up at 6am by wildlife, possums growling at night, dirty cars from dirt roads and morning dew. Not looking forward to having neighbours again and having to lock my car doors wherever i go. Also i copped a warning on the forums for posting a link to censored softcore midget porn (rima from bb08) in the bb08 thread. Justified warning but still hilarious
  16. Sold, picked up and setup at my place No idea how you fit it in a suzuki hatch, we had it tied in and hanging out the back of a Holden Rodeo tray by about 20cm haha
  17. for some reason the main post will not let me edit so updating here. Forgot to mention that the car comes with Apexi pen turbo timer and C.A.M alarm system with immobiliser, window sensors (smashed windows), secondary battery (alarm cannot be turned off by disconnecting battery), black wiring (no distinguishable wiring), adjustable sensitivity. Price is also negotiable
  18. quoting what was said above to make it stand out more
  19. Make: Nissan Model: Skyline Milage: 98,5**km Transmission: Manual Colour: White (QM1 - Cloud White) Location: Canberra Complied: Yes RWC supplied: RWC can be supplied to serious buyer (eg. after a deposit) Currently registered? Yes Price: $15,500 Contact: Please contact me on these forums if you are interested and i can send you my Mobile number Comments / Modifications: First Australian owner, I bought this car from a Private Importer in Melbourne in September of 2006 as a stock standard R33 GTST at 76,000kms (22,000kms, majority being highway kilometers, in 1.5 years)and have had no problems (bar the few common minor problems to do with faulty sensors, all fixed and replaced before January 08, have not resurfaced since) within my brief ownership of this car. My only reason for sale is that i cannot justify owning two cars, nothing to do with petrol as driving the skyline predominantly on the highways sees an average of 650kms from a full tank of BP98, it is just the rego and general upkeep and the temptation to modify the skyline is too much for my wallet to handle at this present time. The only modification this car has seen under my ownership is a larger exhaust (3" HKS Silent Hi-Power and BATMBL split dump/front and high-flow cat), it is not overly loud (exhaust is designed to be quieter then most 3" exhaust systems) but the deeper note may be above the RTA legal dB limits so car will be sold with stock R33 GTST exhaust for RWC. This car has been serviced every 5,000km with Mobil1 10W30, new oil filter and new air filter and has recently (today - 4/5/08) had a major service completed including: *New Excedy Clutch (and spigot/thrust bearing) *100,000km Service - including timing belt, water pump, idle tensioner, cam seals etc. *All brake rotors machined *New rear brake pads *Coolant flush *New brake and clutch fluid *Oil, oil filter, air filter replaced *Throttle body cleaned *Car retuned The car will also be sold with 4 brand new Federal Tyres (unfitted as this sale starts, though will be fitted as soon as possible) Cosmetic modifications are minor and include: *R34GTT Rims *Greddy A-Pillar pod mount with HKS boost gauge (readings in Bar) *Painted center console (white) (pictures below) *Nismo Leather Gear knob *Door fabric (not the best quality but the previous Japanese owner was either a smoker or a clumsy pyromaniac and there were small burns on the fabric areas, they would need to be replaced regardless so i thought i would try replacing them myself with white leather) (pics below) *Gear and Handbrake boots (leather surrounds) re-made in Italy (fancy pants name dropping )with genuine leather in white and black (pictures below) *Main dash gauges replaced with 300km/h and in white (AMEC supplied kit) and dash lights replaced with blue LEDs (supplied by 666DAN) *Genuine GTR (Vspec I, more fancy pants name dropping) bootlid and spoiler already painted in QM1 (i spent A LOT of time searching for this, probably my biggest regret in selling the car) Plastic not fibreglass and has working brake light *Light up Rear 'SKYLINE' Garnish (pics to come) (note, the small reader on the steering column is not a boost controller, it is a digital rev/speedometer that came with the car, the car has never been run on boost above the factory 7psi) Any questions are welcome and as stated above, if you would like to get in contact with me please send me a message over Skylines Australia and i will PM you my Mobile number (don't really like the idea of posting my mobile number online ) In regards to my p-plates and to remove any bias/stereotyping, my previous driving record is as follows (and can be found on these forums): bought an r32 4-door in early-mid 2006, wrote it off on a pole 7 days later, scared straight and to the dislike of friends refuse to even attempt anything 'p-platerish' in any car purchased thereafter. The tyres on the car are the same as when i bought the car almost 2 years ago and would still pass roadworthy, they are only being replaced as 2 years is a bit too long for 1 set of tyres. Thanks Alex Images: More descriptive images can be supplied on demand if necessary (door sills, wheels, front bar etc.)
  20. Spotted quite literally a bazillion Skylines on my way back from Sydney today (guessing from the texi/mexikhana) Also i got my Skyline back today, feels brand new! More power, idles better, sounds better, clutch stronger... I almost don't want to sell it now...
  21. ahaha "I have to end this call sir", "NOOO!"
  22. spotted my car being driven away into the night... ...on its way to get serviced by a friend in canberra and then put up for sale by this Monday (only took me 2 months to finally get around to it, had the parts sitting ready but either im busy or friend is busy so doesn't get done)
  23. Ok found someone to buy it, we are trying to sort a way to get it. Could you give dimensions and i'll put a deposit down? Does it separate?
