Yep, ill RTO the time off work when the date is set for the chrissie cruise, dont wanna miss it. One of the main reasons I bought a skyline, apart from the aura of greatness it produces, was to be part of a large car community. Had my first rubbernecks experience today, sitting at traffic lights near ANU and 2 cars roll past me, slowly, and all gawk at the car. Cant complain about a nice ego stroking
Was a bit dodgy buying off ebay but the guy wasnt pressuring me to put a deposit or anything until i saw and test drove it so it was basically a moneyless deposit. He faxed me the compliance and import papers as soon as i won the bid and when i talked on the phone he seemed to be a genuine guy. Hes been in the importing business for 10-15 years and has the mansion of a house to prove it, along with the multiple skylines in his garage. It was pretty surreal.
