  1. There have been bargains like that, but I highly doubt this one is. It's either a mistype or just some bored bastard having some fun.
  2. Hey 403_r32, can you get close pics? I wanna see more of your car.
  3. Just remember, cheap is not always good and you get what you pay for (most of the time).
  4. "....the JZX100 and JZX110 series came with VVTi and a single turbo which produced a little more torque, but also much lower in the rev-range. Peak torque was raised marginally in the JZX100 and later models, and occurred at 2400rpm compared to 4800 rpm in the non-VVTi twin turbo engines." source: http://www.ghostweb.com.au/tourerv/models.shtml "Max.torque(Net), N*m(kg*m)/rpm 38.5 kg*m (377.56 N*m) / 2400 rpm" source: http://www.cars-directory.net/specs/toyota...er/1997_4/6604/ Those were the sites where I got my info from.
  5. The Supra bet the GTR quite easily. Maybe just a better driver?
  6. Check to see what's wrong with your heating system by trying this: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...814&hl=cold From my experience, my heater didn't work because of the motor which controls the hot/cold valve was stuffed (mine wasn't stuffed it just wasn't getting power). Do the diagnosis to see what's wrong and we'll try and help you out from there.
  7. The Chaser has a single turbo with vvti which is what gives it the extra low down torque as far as I know. According to Cars-directory.net, the Chaser has a 377.56nm of torque at 2400rpm. The Chaser isn't a heavy car for its size either. It only weighs in at 1470kg.
  8. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lKvF08Gt8N4 For those who thought the Supra was a boat.
  9. Got dish?
  10. Just incase you wanna check out different offsets for yourself, have a look at this site: http://www.1010tires.com/WheelOffsetCalculator.asp Cheers
  11. No worries. Hopefully it all goes well.
  12. Just go for the +38 on the 8.5" wide. It'll stick out an extra 3mm.
  13. What kit are you after mate?
  14. If you're happy with the way your wheels are now, just go for 8.5" rear with an offset of +38. It'll be sticking out an extra 3mm from what it is now.
  15. How much gaurd clearance do you have for the rear with your old wheels? If you go 8.5" wide with an offset of +22, just imagine your wheels now but sticking out an extra 20mm.
  16. Yeah, if you're happy with the way your old wheels sit with the spacers on, you should get +30 offset for the front. It should sit in the exactly the same position. And for the rear.....
  17. How wide were your old wheels?
  18. Wheels sticking out of the guards will depend mostly on the offset of the wheels. In my opinion, go for the widest you can go. But I'll look and see what offsets you'll need with 8 and 8.5" wheels.
  19. Not bad man. I like the black with polished lip on white.
  20. How wide do you want to go mate? Front and rear?
  21. It's good to hear the opinion of someone who's owned the two cars.
  22. Go for a GT35R. One of the best response turbos for the 2JZ. Someone ran a 11sec 1/4 mile in NZ if I remember correctly.
  23. Quite a few people have got there GTR bars from Justjap. I think they were about $550? From what I've heard, they're pretty good quality too. Support our sponsors!
  24. I'm sorry for your lost mate. Hope you find the prick soon. To be honest, I don't think he'll travel around the area he stole the car so everyone needs to keep an eye out for this car. Goodluck on your search for this guy.
  25. As long as it's stuck on heater, it should be alright for now. It's damn cold at this time of year. Try touching all the cables where the motor is. Sounds like a dodgy way to fix things, but it got mine working!
