  1. Thanks for the info MANWHORE. I might give my dad's 4wd a flush and give it some new hoses.
  2. Have you tried cleaning it from the inside?
  3. I've put a black mesh over my cooler. To be honest, you can't even tell the difference with it on or off. I just put it there to protect the fins from bending.
  4. Chaser. But who would win if the Chaser was put up against the Aristo? Aristo has more weight, but also more power.
  5. NG0387, you just dug up a 3 year old thread! I wish I could drive my car.
  6. 2JZ all the way. Supra TT all the way.
  7. Pretty sure about half of that car was Australian designed. I think some parts of that car are the same as the Holden Statesman. Looks alright though.
  8. Yeah that's the same with me. Only seems to bounce when I'm travelling below 40kmh. Most of the time, the bouncing speedo has something to do with the speedo cable.
  9. Does the light come on when your power steering fluid is low? Maybe check that while you're checking your brake fluid.
  10. Doesn't look too bad. The wrx looks like a Peugeot in my opinion.
  11. Do you get brown coolant aswell? I remember doing a coolant change on my dad's old 4wd and the coolant kept coming out brown and still is. If you've got a similar problem, I would like to know how to fix this also.
  12. I wouldn't be surprised if there was a dead rat behind the heater system. It's nice and warm. A Vic member had a rat or something eatting his dog's food in his engine bay, anything can be possible.
  13. jUsT-dRiFt-iT, I've got the same problem as you. There seems to be more water on the jack side. Cheers for that dmr, I'll try and take a look when I get the chance.
  14. I thought all HID's have xenon in them? Some halogen globes have xenon and they're claimed to have a longer life span.
  15. You can also purchase them in carbon fibre if I remember correctly.
  16. Yeah I think they do use the 5x100 or something. Something different to the skylines. I think the older falcons (ea, eb) use the same stud pattern as the skylines, but the newer ones don't fit.
  17. Very nice. Was there one for sale in Australia recently or was I dreaming?
  18. You should also jack up your car so that the tyres don't reshape and put a cloth in your exhaust pipe so that rats or any other type of animal live in there. Have fun on your trip!
  19. Hey, can't you still get dicked by these new laws? It's no turbo, V8 etc for the new P platers, but your GTR is over the old power to weight rules aren't they? If your GTR is over the power to weight ratio (old rules, but still apply) can't you still get the, 'lose 3 demerit points and a max fine of $1100'?
  20. Do you have a pod filter by any chance?
  21. I'm just like you mate. Went the four door and GTS-4 package just to be different. I wonder how many people on here have 32 GTS-4 sedans.

    Hot R32 In Wa

That's one HOT R32. Wonder what happened. I don't think people were smoking while in the car. Wouldn't they have stopped the fire extending if they saw it? Maybe they dropped it in between the seats and couldn't get it out?
  23. I think it'll be best to replace the seat belt altogether. It'll be safer and easier for you. You never know what could happen. Try looking for a replacement at your local wreckers. I don't think it should be all that expensive.
  24. I think I know what you're talking about. I remember washing the car awhile back and water used to keep coming out even though I've already dried the car from around the taillight area. I'll try and have a look when I get the time. Do you have any pictures you can post to show exactly where you're talking about? Cheers mate.
  25. R34's have HID's in reflector housings. All you would need to reinstall the HID globes are the original ballast and globes. They should fit right into place. I have no experience with R34 lights so I'm not too sure. I think someone said that the original HID's are hard to come by and when you do see them for sale, they're at about the $700 mark, so....
