  1. I agree, HID's are a good upgrade in a way. They light up the entire road, but you're also blinding on coming traffic. I've got a HID kit installed at the moment and if I were to upgrade headlights again, I would go retro fitting. Much better cut off line and no hot spots at all. Only down side to retro fitting is that it's very expensive.
  2. In my opinion, you should just go with 3rd party insurance. $3k+ a year is going to be pretty bad. When/if you go 3rd party, just try not to do anything stupid on the road (yeah, I know it's easier said than done) because if you write your car off, that's it. The few seconds of that adrenalin rush is not worth it Good luck with everything.
  3. How did you lose it? Did you do what Bo0oSt said? Leave the cap on the roof of your car and drive off or? I guess you could always go to a wrecker and ask for a fuel cap. Hope you can sort everything out.
  4. For full comprehensive insurance, you'll be looking at $3k+? I guess it also depends on where you live.

    So And So

If what I said above sounded harsh, I'm sorry, I didn't mean it to come out the way it did. All I was trying to say was that if you had seen the car in person, it wouldn't have been hard to spot these problems. Good luck with sorting eveything out anyway.

    So And So

We're you there to check the car out in person? Wouldn't you have been able to see what was wrong with the car? I'm not trying to be a dickhead, but the only person you can blame is yourself. You should've checked out the car properly. If you had put a deposit on an ordered car or something and they gave you this car, forget what I said above.
  7. Oh ok, thanks for that. I'll pass for everything except blood pressure (I'm not exactly sure what my pressure is, but my GP says it could be a bit low). I might book it sometime in the future and just hope my pressure's all normal.
  8. Not only are they introducing more cameras, but they're going to introduce these no turbo, v8 laws for the P platers. I wonder if these laws are actually gonna lower the number of road fatalities.
  9. I know how you feel mate. I have to get my licence after the rules too (December). The thing is, I've already got my car which is turbo and I can't drive it. Only thing I can do is buy a shit box or something and wait till I'm off my Ps. Can't really complain about the rules, they're there to protect us.
  10. Congrats mate, hopefully I can pass mine on the first go (just have to wait till December). Also, make sure you book your driving test before the 1st of July and PASS!
  11. Looks really good mate. Money well spent
  12. Pink Cappucino! Do something different Make sure she gets a manual
  13. I've always wondered if I was the only one laughing
  14. I guess you can always show them the documents, but depending on the police officer, he'll just find something else to defect you for. Good luck anyway and hope you don't find any major problems with the car.
  15. Hi everyone, I was just wondering, how old do you have to be to give blood? And is it ok to give blood if you have a low blood pressure?
  16. They don't flare out like the GTR's do they? It looks like an ordinary GTS-4 with a NA RB26.
  17. Yeah, I would assume the police can fine you for having engine modifications. Any mod to raise engine power is banned. Even though the muffler gives you nearly no gain in performance, it's still a gain Congrats on the purchase
  18. Seeing that we're on the topic of what type of petrol to use, what would happen if we were to put diesel fuel into our cars?
  19. Yeah, I see what you mean. I say go with the m-sports
  20. Would it be alright to run 91 for weekdays and then fill up with 98 for the weekends? As in use the 91 for daily(no boosting) and 98 when you want to give it a trash? I would assume it'll be fine aslong as you keep it off boost.
  21. They look good as it is, but if you want new sides and rear, I would go with the m-sports. They both flow with the front bar, but the m-sports looks better (more flaring).
  22. Good to hear everything is sorted Any chance you can post pictures of your headlights and cut off line? I just want something to compare my cut off line to
  23. They're searching all of East Coast Australia. So if he did go interstate, hopefully police interstate will notice him. RIP to the lawyer.
  24. Yeah, they look like Type M skirts and pods, but could be wrong.
  25. I don't think you can undo it by hand anymore. When you punch a screw driver through the filter, it leaves sharp metal hanging out. I think your only option now is to hack the thing out or something. I think your filter's gonna turn out like the pics above ^^^
