  1. I have to blimp the throttle everytime the engine's cold, but it's fine when the engine is warm. I only noticed this when I installed my fmic. Maybe something to do with the cooler? Cheers, Adam
  2. From my experience, it hasn't been the unit that has caused the problems, it's always been a loose plug. Try shaking all the cables behind the dash. That got my heater to work Cheers, Adam
  3. The way I did it was, I got the area of the entire front of tyre and wheel (side facing the road), subtracted area of rims, multiplied the area calculated by width of tyre and then convert cm^3 into litres. Hope that made sense. Cheers, Adam
  4. If it's working fine at cooler temperatures and bad at warm, could it be that your plugs aren't the right heat rating? Maybe get colder rating plugs? Cheers, Adam
  5. You would have to change the settings on your ecu or get a remap done. Cheers, Adam
  6. Do you have an atmo BOV? Maybe it's leaking. Cheers, Adam
  7. The filter should be just below the master brake cylinder. It's silver, you can't miss it. Cheers, Adam
  8. As far as I know, all coupe boots are the same. I know for sure that the sedan boots are different to the coupes. Cheers, Adam
  9. "r32's dont have R&R." In other words, "Skyline R32's don't have Rich and Retard." It's when you raise the boost from stock and the standard ecu over fuels to protect your engine. "SAFC will set you back about $250" In other words, "A Super Air Flow Converter will cost you about $250." "16:1 afr" Not sure Feel free to correct me. Cheers, Adam
  10. A way you can gain more kms is to change to new oxygen sensors, new fuel filter, change back to stock air box and I think cleaning your air flow meter helps, but if your always having short trips, that explains why you don't get much out of a tank.
  11. You should let a trusted friend or family member to take the car for a spin once every two weeks. If you can't do that then you should do as others have suggested and also put your car on stands.
  12. Take it for a drive and see how it goes. If you don't know how the 26 is supposed to feel like, maybe get someone trustworthy off here who owns/owned a GTR and get them to go and check the car out with you? I'm sure if they've owned a 26 before, they should know if the engine is up to scratch or not. Cheers, Adam
  13. I'm not gonna be driving this car when I get my licence. Don't want to hit into a bank and insurance not to pay out. I'm just gonna buy a shitbox and drive that for three years then drive this car. I don't really care if I get pulled over at the moment, I'm on my L's and I can drive what ever I like. Cheers, Adam
  14. I would say do it yourself, but if you want to take it somewhere, I would say that you need to take it to an auto electrician. Cheers, Adam
  15. Make sure to check your brake fluid level mate. It could be low. Cheers, Adam
  16. Your next mod should be a fuel pump. R32's are about 18 years old now and if you're boosting your car, you don't want to run the risk of your engine leaning out (fuel pump failing). If you're aiming for 200rwkw+, you'll need to upgrade your injectors. You don't want to be running your injectors at its max. You could just purchase second hand GTR injectors. They're 440cc and you can push a maximum of about 300rwkw out of them which is more than enough. They're cheap too. Hope that helps. Cheers, Adam
  17. Tirerack Cheers, Adam
  18. I heard it could be the altanator belt but it could be any belt being loose. I wouldn't worry about it if it doesn't affect your performance. In Spartan's case, it's something to do with his starter motor and it's something I would check out. Does your belt just skreatch in the mornings when it's cold or does it just come and go whenever it feels like it? Cheers, Adam
  19. While we're on the topic about headlights, how's the light output of these headlights compared to the projector ones? Cheers, Adam
  20. I think the skreaching sound is similar to mine, it only skreaches after start up and then stops. I don't understand why, but it doesn't affect performance or anything so I just left it. As for your starter motor problem, I've got no idea what that could be. Best to get it checked out. The problem could be worse then you think. Hope everything is OK Cheers, Adam
  21. From my findings, I found it to be about 92.8g. This is if the tyre is filled with pure oxygen. Cheers, Adam ps. all done with my dodgey math skills
  22. Hey, to use that formula, you need your pressure to be in kPa. Not just Pa. And V needs to be in litres. Cheers, Adam Year 12 Chemistry exam in two weeks time
  23. 17 here! These laws affect me though I get my licence at the end of the year. Cheers, Adam
  24. The 'skreaching' sound could also be a loose altanator belt. Does it just make the noise after start up or does it continue throughout the whole time the engine is on? Cheers, Adam
  25. That's normal as far as I know. I think this is to minimise the chances of blinding on coming traffic. Brighter on passanger side to see signs maybe? Or is that the parkers job? Not too sure. I think it's normal so don't worry about it. Cheers, Adam
