  1. Some say it'll destroy your turbo and some will say it won't do anything. Running higher than standard boost is risking the turbos health, but people still do it. Who cares Cheers
  2. Hey mate, I would say that you should get atleast a second hand exhaust before the FMIC. You need the car to breathe a little easier before boosting it. But if you still don't want the exhaust, you can buy a manual boost controller for as little as $25 including postage off ebay. And to answer your question of "will it add much power?" you will gain power but not much. Getting a FMIC will make the flutter echo more that's for sure. In my opinion, get a exhaust first. Try looking for a cheap second hand one. Your car looks good Cheers, Adam
  3. From a little search, I found that the non projector lights run H4 in no.3 and for the high beams they could be running H1 globes. Cheers
  4. If your problem is the same as mine, I wouldn't mind having a look. All that was wrong with my system was that the plug to the motor needed a shake. All was fixed after that. Biggest problem was finding out what was wrong in the first place. From the sounds of things, your motor is busted. I don't know how to change that Cheers
  5. No. 3 globe for me was a H3C globe. My car's a 89 GTS-4 with projectors. I've never taken out the other globes so I'm not too sure about them. Cheers, Adam
  6. Yeah, taking your car to a workshop would probably be the best thing. Hey Pat, did you ever get that blend door servo motor of your's working? Thanks for your help again, winter's coming up and I'm glad the heater is working. Cheers, Adam
  7. Hey mate, I was in the same position as you only a few months ago. Only thing different was that my master brake cylinder was also leaking. The abs unit is the same as the gtr's mate. Try searching around at your local jap wrecker and make sure you get the correct abs unit with the same part number as yours. By the way, this was all for a R32 GTS-4. Hope that helps. Cheers, Adam
  8. Hrmm. From the diagnostic you did you only got an error of no. 25 which is the sunload sensor. That shouldn't affect your temperature as far as I know. If it was your blend door servo motor, it should come up with the error no. 26, but it doesn't. Did you hold down the hot or cold button until the letters 'FH' or 'FC' came up? As far as I'm aware, that should just ignore the sensor readings and blow as hot or cold depending on what you pressed. Also a stupid question but, did you let the engine warm up before you pressed the hot button? If what I've suggested doesn't work, I'm not too sure what the problem could be because no error codes come up when you're doing the diagnosis. Cheers, Adam
  9. Have you tried holding down either the hot or cold button for about 10secs? It should ignore the sensors and go full hot or full cold. Give that a try and let me know what happens.
  10. If that doesn't help, have a read through this thread. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...4&hl=aircon Cheers
  11. Hey mate, try holding down the 'Cold' button for about 10sec until a 'FC' comes up on screen. In this setting, it should ignore all the sensor readings and just go to the coldest it can get. If this is colder than it normally is on the coldest setting (ie. 18 degrees), it's your sensors playing up. Even try holding the 'Hot' button for about 10secs for the 'FH' to come up on screen. It should go to the warmest the system can go. If all the temperatures are the same as they were before, it could be your blend door servo motor (it controls your hot/cold). Hope that helps. Cheers, Adam
  12. Are you talking about the tail light covers? The ones that make the sedan lights look like the coupe's? If you are, East Bear sell them. Have a little search in the four door section on these forums. I'm pretty sure there were quite a few thread about the covers. Cheers Adam
  13. Good to hear you found out what was wrong with the car mate. Let us know how it all goes after replacing the gasket. Cheers
  14. I have a feeling there's going to be grey underneath. Good luck with what ever you do mate, and I hope it's not grey underneath. Cheers
  15. It's double sided tape and it is a bitch to get off. I've got a spare boot lid with a spoiler I wanted to take off and it took two grown men to take off the spoiler. The tape did its job really well. And for the paint, I would imagine that it will damage the paint if you try to clean off the excess glue or rip the paint out with the spoiler. If I were in your shoes, I wouldn't take it off. I wouldn't want risk the paint work. Cheers
  16. First picture could be a plug for the brake light for the spoiler? Not too sure.
  17. Maybe check if all your intercooler pipes are tight aswell if your suffering from stalling issues. Could be a leak somewhere. I remember one of my clamps went loose after a quick squirt and the car started to drop revs with the clutch in.
  18. If you're talking about installing an HID kit, it's not recommended on an R33 headlight. If you're talking about retro fitting, take a look at hidplanet.com. Cheers
  19. Hey mate, ABS units can go for as little as $150 - $400. You can go to your local Japanese wrecker, buy off someone wrecking a R33 or just put up a WTB thread on here. Cheers, Adam
  20. They're only banning modifications which increase your engines power. That means we'll keep seeing ricers. Cheers
  21. The side skirt for a R32 4 door should measure up to 6ft. Hope that helps. Cheers
  22. If I don't forget, I can get you the measurements for a 4 door 32 mate. I will post up the measurements tomorrow morning for you. Cheers, Adam
  23. The problem you have seems to be common. Have a look through this thread. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...?showtopic=6167 Cheers
  24. From the looks of your pictures I would have to say that they're either 6000k or even 8000k. If you want to install halogen globes, you have to take out the ballast resistor which is connected to your HID bulbs. The original wires should run into the ballast then the ballast to the HID globe if you're running the HID kit. If you want to install halogens, unplug the original wire from the ballast and connect the new globe to that. Hope that helps. Cheers
  25. Before you go out and buy a HID kit, have a read through this thread. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...617&hl=hid* Cheers
