  1. Not sure what you mean by face being further back then calipers... The standard offsets are +30mm on a 8" wide wheel.
  2. I would just go to the local high pressure car wash. Only costs about $2 all up. With the above products, I'm not sure on how you would go about using it, but without using water, what would you do about the dirty you've got stuck on your car? Just rub the products in and scratch the car? I just go to the car wash and use their recycled high pressure water gun. Edit: Okay I just saw you said not to be confused with not using water at all...
  3. Use them if you've got it lying around or already stuck in the bumper, but I wouldn't go out and buy some. They look good either way to me.
  4. I've got abu's hard drive of R32 photos right here. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Tu...tml&hl=tuff
  5. The amount of dish a wheel has will depend on the width, offset and face style. Made to clear larger calipers, less dish and vice versa. If you're asking how much the above wheels have, no idea..
  6. Wow. Hot indeed. When I got larger wheels, I felt that my steering got lighter!
  7. I've never really known what this meant to be honest, but looking at the Rays wheels website, the Face 1's come in 4 stud and 5 stud patterns whereas the Face 2 only came in 5x114.3. They both have different offsets and widths available too. I've got no idea though, first thought it was to do with the brake clearance of the face, but they both can be made to clear the large calipers.
  8. SAU has quite a few traders who would get these wheels in brand new for you. Best to PM some of them for a price, but you'll be looking at $3k+ as far as I know. GT-C's aren't the cheapest wheels around.
  9. Yep. Got my wheels through him. No problems at all.
  10. Ah I must've read one of your other posts wrong. I can't edit previous post. Hrmm maybe you need to get subie's current wheel's tyre sizes. The wheels you've both got are roughly the same fitment and with subie's current tyres, there's room for a larger tyre underneath with a guard roll. What are your tyre sizes subie? The ones on the S1's.

    Spring Clamps!

My old springs (or current, I can't remember) are doing pretty much what those clamps are, but instead of held together by clamps, my coils are welded together.
  12. Whoo!! True 80s styling in the KE70s. Looks like it was designed with a ruler being the only tool! I hate cars who have exhausts that sound like the car's farting.
  13. I'm probably using shit ass searching techniques, but this is all that's come up for me. http://search1.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/sea...=0jp&acc=jp
  14. Are they the ones you're talking about? Edit: If they are the ones you're talking about, none can be found on yahooauctions Japan. No idea where you would find one.
  15. Which side of Melbourne are you from? If you're from the east, I'm always hearing good things about Micolour in Moorabbin. If from the west, I always hear good things (usually on NS.com) about Primal Garage. A little search in the Vic Section will give you more information on where these places are located.
  16. Rolling guards is just folding the lip that hangs out from under your guards flat against the guard itself. Flaring is folding that lip and continuing pushing the guard out so that the guard is 'stretched' in a way. Rolled guards shouldn't be noticed unless you're looking from right underneath your guard. Flaring you should be able to notice. I'll try to get a few pictures though just to show you what I mean. Edit: Alright, here's a picture of a guard before it was rolled, Here's the after it was rolled, Here's another of before and afters. Images were stolen from a user on ae86dc. Here's a flare, you should be able to notice the difference between these cars standard. Hope that helps.
  17. Depending on how your wheels sit, I think all you'll need is a roll. PM 180athid on the forums. He does guard rolling and does a very good job. I think he charges about $45 per guard to roll and I'm not too sure what he charges for a flare, but I would guess $55+. PM to get a more accurate price.
  18. Oh come on, we don't need another thread turning into a 32 vs. 33 thread.
  19. Wow, he used a pole for flaring the front guards? How'd the guard hold up? With my guards, it went loose from where it joins to the car (it came out 15-20mm). I used the newspaper method, but don't see how the pole technique is any difference when trying to push it out. Definitely post some pics up!
  20. I've done a few spray jobs here and there (back yard jobs) and I have to say that spraying satin or matte black is easier to get a better finish compared to a gloss black for example. You can see all the imperfections if you're not spraying gloss black properly, but with satin/matte, it's not all that hard. A little rough here and there, but it's not too hard to get rid off with a light sand. It could just be that the satin/matte isn't shiny so you can't really see the bad spots, I'm not sure. Just my 2 cents.
  21. Whoo! Another 32 four door GTS-4 owner. You can use GTR coilovers. I've got GTR ones in my car at the moment. You should be able to use GTSt exhausts on your car, the only difference between GTS-4's and GTSt's is the 4wd system. Edit: The rear lower shock mounting is the fork style (on my car at least).
  22. Ah don't stress. Not much of a difference between them anyway and your wheels fit good!
  23. hahahah we'll get it under. We've seen them get under before so we know it's possible. haha I don't know if I should give this information away... Better not. I'll let abu tell you, but I think it's better if you just wait!
  24. Oi! How is using the newspaper method dodgy? Using a pole is dodgy. hahaha The newspaper roll/flare would turn out pretty good if you've already got the guards rolled. It just 'pumps' the guard out, you can say 'naturally'. The guard will be pushed out of the way where the wheels will go because the wheels themselves put it there. Seems like it ey? hahah. He sold the Kai's long ago. He's only had the 33 GTR wheels for like 2 months and sold them already! I know what he's got on the way now though, definitely something to keep an eye out for.
  25. I know I've said it before, but GO WHITE WITH BLACK (or carbon fibre) BONNET!! It's not rice, look at the Mines GTR. Satin/matt (or matte) black is hardest to keep clean from what I've read. Looks nice and different, but white always looks good in my opinion. Let us know either way you go.
