  1. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/4-...tml&hl=stud You didn't search did you? hahahah It should be pretty much straight forward if you're mechanically minded.
  2. hahah I know what you mean. I've currently got a 1.3 carby in my car, my mate's got the same car, but with the 1.6ltr version and I reckon his car's fast as! hahaha
  3. It would really depend on the brand of each globe used. The 100w globes will naturally run brighter because they're higher wattage. They'll also run hotter meaning more risk of melting bits and pieces of your headlight housing or even burn out the plugs and wiring. I don't recommend using higher wattage globes. Spend money on quality globes. Edit: I just realised I've said that twice now, "Spend money on quality globes." haha
  4. Yeah, it was just to show how a wheel which would sit aggressively on GTR would sit on a GTSt. Wheels with those specs would be sticking out of the guards of a GTR with 'normal' camber settings and tyres. Wheels which sit in GTR guards nicely wouldn't be too hard to make look good on a GTSt with some work was all I was trying to say/show with those pics.
  5. But your clear indicators look clear! hahah Nice shots you've taken though. Where abouts is that?
  6. Sorry, I can't help with any news today guys. I don't actually drive my car so can't take it out for a spin to warm the engine up. I've got to wait for one of my parents to give it a drive (P plater and turbo = fines and loss of points). I'll check out what's going on when my mum gets home from work in it.
  7. The government would probably charge us for some sort of entry fee because they had to close down a road.
  8. You would be able to get them through Autobahn, not sure on price. Can you get a picture up of the plug to the globe? I have a feeling that the compliance company changed it over to take halogen globes, but the previous owner threw in those cheap HID kits. Not genuine R34 HID globes, therefore not being D2R (or what ever it really is).
  9. Spotted a blue R34 GTR wearing some gold GT-Cs on Chandler Rd in Keysborough yesterday. About 3:30pm, girl driving. Was a shock to see a female behind the wheel to be honest.
  10. Hrmm after looking at Work's official website, they are XT7s. All I can say is, don't use google image search to find out what wheels look like! Do you have any recent pics of your car?
  11. XD9. The silver GTR with the meisters looks pretty tough.
  12. Oh that's cheap as! Might head out after exams finish actually.
  13. If you're using the car as a daily, 5 thousand Ks stack up pretty quickly. You change your oil every month. You start to get sick of it.
  14. hahahahah Wouldn't mind checking those cars out in person one day...
  15. Whoops!!! As long as my wheel doesn't fall off, that's all that matters I guess.
  16. Hrmm, I think my car's acting like this as well. I'll try and suss it out tomorrow and report back. When it's on 21 degrees, it's really burning up inside the car. It could be that my valve is stuck on the hot setting though, haven't actually checked yet. I'll let you know what happens.
  17. Depending on which model, the standard offsets are +30 with a 9" wide (for R33 and R34's), 8" +30 on a R32.
  18. There's only one way the face can go in the wheel, would that still create unbalance in the wheels? Assuming all the nuts are the same weight... I didn't think there would be any problems.
  19. Depends what wheel you have, but with mesh wheels which normally have bolts, just undo it all, get a plank of wood and a hammer, place wheels upside down so that you can hit the face out, remember to put them on a mat so you don't scratch the lip. Knock one side at a time. Keep going around so that it comes out evenly. You'll need to put a lot of force for it to come out. Also don't forget to release most of the pressure in your tyres out. Should help get the centre out. Putting it back is a little more difficult. Everything has to EVEN. And I mean everything. hahah. If the face doesn't go in even, it's a pain in the arse for it to go in, if it's not even with the bolts, well you've got to hit it back out and start again. You'll get the hang of it. I had back pain and wanted to cry after finishing torquing up the one wheel's 20 bolts. All I can say is have fun...
  20. I don't know what 'GTR offsets' really mean, but if it just means wheels with offsets to fit flush on GTR guards then it will obviously stick out on a GTSt because they've got wider guards? With enough camber and flaring, I don't see why the most extreme wheels won't fit. These wheels below would be pretty aggressive on a GTR, but they don't look too bad being on a GTSt. Fronts are 18x9 -7 with 225-40 FK452s. Rear are 18x10 0 with 235-40 FK452s. 215s on a 9" wide wouldn't be a problem if you're after a 'stretch' look.
  21. I want it! I've finished making my current car look the way I like it, I need something else now... I need to see if my wheel specs will look good on it!
  22. I've been wondering what you got up to! Do you have any photos of your retrofit at all? I remember seeing a few photos, but did you manage to finish it off?
  23. Gutless... 1.6ltr carby or just buy one with a 4age conversion already, still nothing special.
  24. That's nice as! When I first saw the photo (through Pat (Rekin)) I would've thought it was custom made or something. I don't know why it looks so good, maybe because it's 'different'. Good one!
  25. Hella are one of the good ones (brands) as far as I know.
