  1. Just get a H3 kit. There will be no difference if you were to convert to H1. If you're keeping halogen globes then it's best to convert to something else because there's not many quality globes out there on the market for H3C owners.
  2. Also keep in mind that if your insurance company find out that you've got an exhaust, they can reject your claims when you have an accident. So you hit someone, break their legs, they sue you, you go claim insurance to pay him, they reject you for driving a car you shouldn't have (increased power), you're in debt. You'll most probably get away driving a car with an exhaust, but when/if you have an accident, you've got a lot to lose if the insurance company know what's going on. I'm not trying to attack you in any way mate, just giving you an idea of what could happen. =]
  3. The series 1 R32 headlights had the H3C and the series 2 had H1's. You shouldn't just get globes by following that information though, you would never know if your headlights have been swapped. My headlights take H3C globes, but when installing those HID kits, you can just get the H3 and they'll fit. It was pretty much plug and play for me. Not too sure what happened with the lights which took H1's though.
  4. This has been covered many times before mate. Next time do a search, but you can just use and polish to remove the yellow cover depending on how bad it is. If something like Maguires Scratch X doesn't work then you'll have to open up the head light. To do that, you'll need to put the headlight in your oven to melt the glue, open, clean, etc. The reason the HID guy told you it won't be perfect is because most people don't buy new seals, they just re-heat and stick the cover back on. If you got new glue to seal it up, it should be like new.
  5. Yeah, they're on the forums man.
  6. Hmm, I've never seen that before. With my headlights, there's just a hole for the globe to be slotted into and a metal clip to click in place. With that, I'm not too sure, I think cutting it up would be the only approach. Any idea if getting a 'normal' headlight's clip and using that in your headlight? Edit: Taking a second look at it, I don't think getting a clip from another headlight would work.
  7. I waited 5mins+ for that to download (internet's capped) and that's all I saw... I was expecting a car to go off and hit someone as well. hahaha
  8. Check your brake fluid levels. When it gets low, the hand brake light will light up.
  9. Ah not bad. Could do with a few spacers here and there. lol @ your avatar though, so random. hahah
  10. Yep, she's got 50mm wider rear guards and I think it was 20mm up front. She's looking at getting 11" 0 offset out back and something like 9" 0 upfront.
  11. Those are some fat wheels... Don't think they'll fit on a GTSt though, they're a bit much for my friends wide body 180sx as well!
  12. Pretty sure carmate sell them. Wouldn't have a clue on their quality though.
  13. Very good turnout and night indeed. Nice to put a few extra faces to names. I should've brought along my skyline.
  14. From some images from google earth, it looks like a dirt road?
  15. Where abouts are we doing the photo shoot? At Bunnings or? Bunnings might attract more police attention being on Princes Hwy, but its got a large car park...
  16. I think this thread should be moved to the Photography section. Could even be the official R32 pic thread!
  17. I don't think my car will even last running for 4 hours.
  18. Bunnings have lights which should stay on during the night so it wouldn't be a bad photo shoot location either. They close at 9 so customers shouldn't be a problem.
  19. Bunnings down the road towards City. Bunnings Sandown. Plenty of car parking spots there. About half way between car wash and kebab shop.
  20. Go for the R33. Who cares if they're a little heavier, they've got the extra .5litre more to make up for it and larger brakes to stop it. They do look a little shittier, but who cares.
  21. Out of the SAU meets that I've been to, no cops have turned up. Both meets were quite large also. As long as everyone's behaving, there shouldn't be any problems.
  22. Why does he want a 4 stud? Aren't NA R34 wheels 5 stud?
  23. Dude, its Noble Park, of course not.
  24. If it was just a weekend street car, I would definitely go for the JZA80 supra. I've always loved the supra's looks and engine's power potential. Only thing is that they're not the lightest of cars so they won't be the best in the hills, but the GTR isn't all that light either. Supras are also less of a 'hoon' car to the police from what I've heard, so that must be a good thing. Edit: On your search, don't forget to try and buy one with the larger 4 pot brakes.
