  1. The insurance company are smart. They'll just take your yearly payment, but when you make a claim (for running someone down for example), they'll just reject you because you're driving a car illegally.
  2. Before you guys go and beat this guy up, how do you know that he didn't buy these wheels off the guy who stole it? The guy who stole it probably sold these to him for $20 or something and he just wants to make a profit?
  3. High beams are factory items yet it's still illegal to be driving with them on when you're not supposed to.
  4. Yep, they're 17x8 and 17x9. +40 and +42mm offset respectively. They come with tyres. The current bidding price is at 70,000yen which works out to be ~$752 just to buy them. You've gotta add the shipping, tax, etc. It'll probably work out to be ~$1500 landed.
  5. That sucks. I don't think there's anything you can do without proof that they're yours. Beat him/her up and you'll end up charged with assault. Unless you go check it out, beat him/her up so hard that they get amnesia or something and take the wheels while you're at it.
  6. Yeah, the two deaths were pretty bad. An elderly lady just walking to shops or something then BAM, wall falls on her. The other being a 47 year old man working then the building he was working on just decides to fall down. RIP
  7. Not too sure about your area/line, but mine was working (Dandenong line). Trains not on their 'normal' platforms and bit of a confusion here and there, but nothing too bad. Trains are running to Box Hill then buses are used to get to the rest because of trees on track.
  8. This would mean smoking while driving would be illegal too wouldn't it? Not that I smoke or anything.
  9. No need to put them in the oven. Just use a heat gun. Go around the edges with the gun, pull apart slowly each section. Best to clean off the old glue and use new seals.

  11. Hahah, yeah, if you've got a turbo 32, you'll most likely already have the 4 pot brakes.
  12. When using yahoo auctions as a price reference, just double the purchase price to get the rough cost of what they're worth here landed.
  13. PLENTY of people wrecking TA22's on toymods.net. You're gonna be pretty safe buying off there. Forum needs ALL your details (address, full name, etc) before you can register. Can't view threads without signing up. Good luck!
  14. Believe it or not, it was put in there by a workshop down here in Melbourne. A member had taken his car in for a service or something and he got the car back with a spark plug as the plug. hahhaha. I surprised to see that the spark plug will fit!
  15. If only one is getting dirty, I would say that the headlight's seals are stuffed on that light. Usually when the lights go yellow, they both would be, not just the one. My opinion. Brasso can be purchased at any coles supermarket.
  16. Better off using one of these.
  17. Wheel and tyre specs, subie?
  18. I would personally file them down. I've noticed that vice grips usually never works. Always slips no matter how hard you do it up. If the nut was tight enough to strip, the vice grip won't do much except round it even smoother (from my experience).
  19. You should be able to see where they're touching if you're currently rubbing them while driving. Just take the wheel off and you'll be able to see scratches. About the wiring looms, if the S13's are anything similar to the skylines, they should be fine as long as they're not rubbing as well. I honestly don't remember seeing any wiring where the front wheels were. haha. I always thought it was only like that for the S13/14/15's.
  20. Sorry, but I can't really answer that question because I've never had any experience with wheels on R34 GTR's. It's up to you weather or not it's a good width and offset because I can't see how much of a 'gap' you've got between your wheel and guards. You wanted it to come out an inch or an inch and a half and from what I've calculated above, having 18x10 +12 wheels will stick out 30mm more than what they're at at the moment. Good luck with it though mate. Any further questions on how much they'll stick out compared to what they are now and I'll be happy to help. Remember to post some pics when you get the new wheels on!
  21. If the chassis is bent, you're better off parting it out. Or be a dodgy and repair the car and sell it to someone that doesn't know.
  22. Black with the polish lip for sure. Keep it black, but why the copy? Shouldn't be too hard to get your hands on some decent priced ones with a little searching around, but they won't have a polished lip.
  23. Yeah, 18x10 with a +15 offset will bring the rims out 27.7mm so roughly an inch. I personally think a 9" wheel on a GTR would be too small. They come in 9" wide so I would go 10" at least. So for a 10" wheel, +15mm offset will bring the wheel out 27.7mm. 10.5" with +15 will bring it out 34.1mm. Just to give you a little guide, to get a 9" wheel to come out an inch, the offset needs to be +5. For it to come out ~1.5", it'll need to be -7. With a 9.5" wheel, for it to come out 1", the offset needs to be +11. To come out 1.5", it needs to be -1. 10" wheel to come out 1", it needs to be +17. To come out 1.5", it needs to be +5. 10.5" wheel to come out 1", needs to have an offset of +24. Out 1.5", offset needs to be +12mm. You can use that guide when looking at wheels. Hope that helps. Cheers
  24. Nah, the 'N1' style headlights are reflectors and if you put HID's in them, they'll be worse than putting them in projectors. Putting them in the projectors will be better, but still shit.
  25. The previous owners probably took it out if it's no longer there. The motor which controls it weighs HEAPS from what I've read, so I wouldn't be surprised.
