  1. So I take it that he was impressed with the inspection! Congrats on the sale! A very nice GTR indeed. Keep it up. Cheers
  2. I've always used my hydraulic jack's pole to provide more leverage. Like Newton said, Torque = Force X Distance. Edit: I'm not sure if Newton said that. hahaha Also make sure you're turning it the right way. I remember how I was stupid enough to turn it the wrong way and break the bolt.
  3. LOL, fark man! I just realised. hahaha. Edit: Thought I should post this up.
  4. Most 32's will be in the same stage. Things are starting to fall apart and leaking, but then again, I don't see what turbo car you could get for $10k that won't be. Check out a few 32's for sale if you really want one. Just do a few tests on them to see if you'll have to spend heaps of money.
  5. I honestly haven't heard about any problems of installing a lockbar interfering with the 4wd system. I'll let someone who's put one in their GTR or GTS-4 first hand to answer this one.
  6. Should do something to make it more secure at least. You don't want it flying up and smashing your windscreen, but you also don't want to drill holes in for the bonnet pins to only get defected the next day for them. Try readjusting your latch or modifying the hook maybe?
  7. Yep, found it to VERY useful after using it the first time. Much easier than compressing the springs, etc.
  8. Pretty sure epa don't care what cosmetic modifications you've done. You could have a huge ass kit hanging all over the road for all they care. Should put the stock air box back on at least.
  9. I remember waiting to GO for my licence. haha. Couldn't wait to get my licence and was all excited. Lucky I didn't fail otherwise I would've been shattered. Have fun.

    Fkn Robots!

Man, technology these days. That's pretty cool how it can keep balance and that though. Looks more like a giraffe or a camel than a dog and it's damn noisy. haha
  11. That's normal. The low beams should turn off when you turn your high beams on. If you want all four on at once, there's a tutorial on how to do it. It's in the tutorial, DIY section.
  12. If it's green, it'll be your coolant (I can't think of anything else that's green). Is it leaking from where your heater connections are (on firewall)? Sorry, but I don't know where the starter motor is.
  13. Felixy is in Canada if I remember correctly. He's not from Australia. Not a bad looking piece of machine.
  14. If you've got a hydraulic jack, use it to push the strut up to the right height then just 'move' the jack and strut to where you want it.
  15. That sucks man. Doesn't look too bad though. I've got a friend who got ran up the ass one day, got it fixed only to get rammed again a few days later.
  16. There's a bolt place on Boundary Road, Melbourne Bolts or something like that. Travel west down Lower Dandenong Road towards Boundary Road, once you hit Boundary Road, turn left and the store will be on the right about 100-200m down the road. They should have everything you need. Not too sure if they're open today, but if you're nearby, doesn't hurt to drop by.
  17. You should be able to get anything off Nissan. Chances are you'll have to get it from Japan and the price they come back will knock you out cold. Try to find out what the part number is and give Nissan a call.
  18. That doesn't sound too good. At one stage I thought I cross threaded the oil filter, but luckily it was just the wrong size filter. Good luck with it though mate. Hope it isn't too expensive to fix up.
  19. We need to find a better place to take photos. Too bad the last car park we went to had no lights. Would've been a pretty good place to take a shot of every single car in a group. I'll try to look for a good area where we can do this and get back to you all.
  20. All you need to do is fill out your part of the transfer papers and provide a road worthy certificate from what I can remember. There should be two copies of the transfer papers, one for the seller and one for the buyer. He/she just takes the papers with the road worthy to vic roads to transfer names. They don't have to purchase the new rego until it expires or nearing the expiry date. The stamp duty will cost I think 10% of the purchase price? Not too sure. The stamp duty cost $54 for my car. Bought the car for $500. Quite a few people right down a lower purchase price for a cheaper stamp duty, but I assume is illegal. Edit: It's not legal to let the buyer get the road worthy certificate. You must get the road worthy for the buyer or cancel the rego if you can't. Something along the lines of that. Can't remember.
  21. Probably needed some cash so he sold off his GTR seats.
  22. Cable snapped maybe? To get my bonnet open, it requires quite a lot of force to open and I wouldn't be surprised if it snapped one day.
  23. A very good turnout last night. Good thing the rain held off while we were in the car park as well.
  24. Nawww..... I wanted to be the first to say that.
  25. The clouds have started to leak down here in Noble Park. Only spitting so far, but hopefully it holds off.
