  1. lol wtf? abu? Again? hahaha Good luck with the sale either way man. Shouldn't be too much of a problem. I want to see tonight before it goes though.
  2. You should be able to find the offsets of the wheels either printed on the inside (sometimes even on the outside) of the wheels or printed on a sticker.
  3. Does anyone know if these guys can repair corroded wheels? I'm waiting on a set of wheels from Japan that have a little rust on them, any ideas on how much it'll cost or if it's possible? I would ring them, but they'll just ask me to bring in the wheels which I don't have yet. Edit: Here are some pics, Sorry to (attempt) hijack.
  4. I just hope it doesn't rain! There's gonna be morning showers on Friday, so I guess all we can do is hope it doesn't come too early. Anyone bringing a quality camera? Edit: Maybe I should've posted this in the other thread to keep this thread clean. Sorry.
  5. ahahah, I wouldn't really care, my car's paint is all stuffed up already anyway. I hope I can take out the 32 tomorrow. Edit: Who's bringing the camera?
  6. 1. I'm not too sure what the best height a R31 should be for street and performance. 2. When you lower a car, it's always best to get matching shocks. You'll have to do your research as to which shocks suit each spring best. 3. I'm not too sure if brand really matter. I see 8kg/mm springs as 8kg/mm springs. 4. How the car feels afterwards would depend on what you did with your suspension. Lower it too much and you'll get quite a lot of bump steering and probably bottoming out depending on spring rates. 5. I can't give you a rough figure of how much it'll cost for your car, but for my car, a 1983 corolla, it set me back ~$500? or something like that. It included basic KYB shocks front and rear with lowered springs to match (from a little research I found out what spring rate springs were best suited to those shocks). Hope that helped a little. From my post, I obviously don't know much about suspension as others on here so please forgive me.
  7. Nope. The GTS-4 one's got the torque gauge, same as the GTR's.
  8. I've got a 6-9 week wait ahead of me. I paid him 2 nights ago and I'm bloody poor man. hahaha
  9. Maybe you can take some photos of the leak so we can see how bad and where it's coming from? I wouldn't know how to fix it either way, but it could help others help you.
  10. So you're not allowed to drive turbo? Or is this under the other law how you're not supposed to drive a car more than 125kw/tonne? I'm assuming the old rule though. Bad luck.
  11. ahahaha, I wouldn't be embarrassed driving a car like that, chances are people won't even notice the height. Bring a c-spanner on the night and we'll lower it a bit more before taking photos. My car's low as again, I lowered it a bit more over the week end. So now they're 8kg/mm up front, but as low as they were in the photos I showed you a couple months back.
  12. $5k sounds a bit cheap. I'm not too sure what the market for an auto 32 is like at the moment, but I would imagine that you could get that sort of price from a dealer? You want a 34, have you thought about going to a dealer and seeing what they have and asking them for a trade in price?
  13. Shouldn't be a problem man, there will be 10+? cars coming on the night, chances are they'll pull someone elses car over instead of yours. I wanna check out your car! I'm in a pretty tight position if I take out the 32 as well. Cops pull me over and then BAM 3 demerit points gone.
  14. Just leave it as it is for now, but when you start to get sick of it and think that you'll prefer to drive it without the HICAS then take it out. Keep it in till it annoys you in my opinion.
  15. LOL hahah yeah I am! I'll try and see if I can take out the 32 though. There will be 3 four door 32's on the night if I can. Highly doubt it though.
  16. If I'm thinking about the same thing as you, I think I know how to stop people from using that trick.
  17. There's a tutorial on how to install a HICAS lock bar by salad I think. If it's leaking fluid, it's best to get it fixed up because eventually the rest of the power steering fluid will run dry.
  18. If it's blowing out hot air and making a whining noise, I would say that it's something to do with your motor which controls the hot/cool air (can't remember of the actual name, I keep forgetting ). Is it stuck on the hot air or can you change it back to cool?
  19. Not sure how many different style spoilers are out there for the 32's, but for my one, there was only 4 bolts altogether. 2 each side. There's some sort of glue holding the spoiler down as well. You'll need a bit of force to get them off. I seriously wouldn't recommend taking the spoiler off 'just to see how it'll look' because the glue underneath it would be a pain in the arse to clean up. THAT and what happens when you don't like the look? You'll have to go out and get more glue. hahah Up to you, but I reckon it'll be a pain in the arse if you just wanna see how it'll look.
  20. I've seen these spray things that supercheap sell to stop squealing brakes. I wouldn't have a clue if they'd work though. hahaha
  21. I'm in the Noble Park, Dandenong area, so if you want to borrow them, PM me and I'll give you more details. They're only $50 from supercheap and you use them more than once, so it's up to you if you want to borrow them or just buy a pair for yourself. Just let me know if you need them.
  22. The one above it looks sexier in my opinion.
  23. Wow, looks like there's gonna be a pretty big turnout. Count me in guys/girls! I just hope my car doesn't get stolen or breaks down on me. Hey LEANBAC, when's this wash? Is that 7:45 tonight or 7:45 on the meet night? I'll see you and the others there either way.
  24. ^^^ I just post random shit. That's all I saw when I first came into the thread as well. hahah
  25. The compressor's just a clamp which holds the coils of the springs. Go and grab a spring and squeeze it with your bare hands, that's pretty much how they work, but you screw it in with a shifter. I can tell you now that it's a pain in the arse to do. If only I had an air gun or something. Where abouts are you located? I've got one you can borrow if you'd like.
