I've got a standard bonnet and press it down. It's stock so as long as you're not pressing it down from the middle then it should be fine. I've heard somewhere about fiberglass bonnets cracking from pressing down?

Why would it be a good thing? Having it open means that the engine takes longer to warm up meaning more petrol and because it's not at the operating temperature, the engine is wearing out when it's not supposed to.

Most probably a vacuum leak. Check over your intercooler piping and hose clamps, make sure they're all still tight.

Looks same/similar to the N1 ones, except they don't have clips to hold the grille in.

There's a clip holding the brake line, you can undo that, it's where the rubber brake lines meet the steel ones where you'll have trouble undoing with the calipers still on. Hope that made some sense.

Just felt like posting this picture up.

There's only two bolts holding the calipers on. Just undo those and the brake line and off you go. Remember to take off the caliper before trying to undo the lines though. You'll see that you may have to spin the whole caliper to undo the brake lines.

That GTR looks bollocksin tough! I don't know what it is that makes it better than most other GTR's. Very sexy.

Hrmm, what makes a skyline ugly... Big ricey chrome wheels, wheels that don't fill out the guards enough, big bollocks off body kits that aren't needed and probably a huge ass wing as well. Even on a race car, it looks ugly (but the car wasn't build to look good, so those with big wings on their race cars shouldn't be offended ).

The only reason why the rears normally have more dish is because they can take a wider and lower offset wheel compared to the front. For a wheel that is designed to have dish, you'll have more dish with more width and a lower offset. Front's also normally have less dish because the face type of the wheels are made to clear larger calipers. Those wheels sounds like they've come from tempetyres or something like that. The widths are too small/thin for that wheel diameter in my opinion.

As long as those offsets give the car a good stance, the wheels will suit the car in my opinion. I'm with everyone else, go titanium to match your exhaust.

You can get it cheaper than that. I had to replace my unit (same as GTR one) and it cost me ~$250 second hand off a guy wrecking their car on here. Brand new from Nissan, you're looking at $1k+ not including shipping, etc. I've been told it has to be ordered from Japan. Wait till you find someone wrecking their GTR mate, $495 is way too expensive in my opinion. Just keep an eye on the for sale section or head out to your local wrecker. It would probably work out less than that.
