  1. Yeah, the offsets are pretty high for that width if you're getting them for a skyline. Much more suited to Toyota's.
  2. I don't recommend it, but those cheap HID kits will get what you want. Plug and play. When looking for which globe to get, 4300k, 6000k, etc, go for 4300k. Any more and you're doing it for the looks. 4300k is the brightest of all and gives a white light, should be same as sun light colour. Edit: Either that or just spend money on some quality globes from the Philips range. They're not HID so it won't produce a shitty cut off line and hot spots (which is a good thing).
  3. Wheels could be a bit better and they look kinda small, but it could be because your car's sitting high. Clean car though mate.
  4. Probably best to take it to a well known workshop in your area if there are heaps of problems.
  5. I don't see what you could do once it's already started pealing. Rubbing it with some sort of wax or cut n polish will most likey just help peal the paint off! Good luck with it mate.
  6. Yep, most should be in between the 5-10min mark. When I was preparing mine, I thought I would NEVER get to that mark. Always the 2-3min mark, but when you do actually do the presentation, the 8mins will go past very quick. Good luck with it guys!
  7. Easiest way to tell would be to take off the wheels. What do you mean you don't have the right equipment to take them off? The car should have everything you need to take a wheel off in case of a flat tyre.
  8. Hey, I think it could be something to do with the motor which controls the hot/cool air. When you first drive the car, it's nice and cool cause the engine's still cold, but once it gets to operating temperature, the heat starts to come in. That's why the air is no longer cool. From my experience, this was a common problem on the 32's. Try holding down the 'cold' button for about 10secs or until the sign "FC" appears. Should get to the coolest the system can go. Give that a try and see if anything changes.
  9. I had a friend back in school which had just the quarters done and I thought it looked shit. Sorry I can't get any pictures though. Black all round would be best.
  10. I think it was in this video. I tried to look for it on youtube for easier viewing, but I couldn't find it. It's an interesting video. Edit: It's free to sign up.
  11. I've got a good video you can watch that might answer your question. It was some best motoring video using an evo which had 'normal' wheels and wheels which were slightly lighter. There wasn't a big difference. I'll try to get you the video.
  12. Yeah, I haven't seen guards have been lipped have a crack either. That's good I guess. Just go out and buy a guard roller and do it yourself man. haha. Costs about $170 from Burson. Better than paying someone to do them $50 a guard.
  13. Can't you 'make' a crack along where you want it to before you start rolling to minimise cracking in unwanted areas? Just say you were just rolling the inside lip and you were scared of the paint cracking out to where you could see it, can't you get like a stanley knife and make a scratch inside the guard so that when it's rolled, IF it cracked, it'll crack in that spot? Did I make any sense?
  14. That sucks man, I hope to find out who it is. Could be someone in your court!
  15. These guys are crazy and this video's been posted before.
  16. They're real GT-C's as far as I know, I was just playing. Anyway, they're not what wheels you're after, but should give you a rough idea as to how much dish you would have. These are genuine VS-KF's, 9.5" with +34 offset. Front's only...
  17. Here are some pics of the fake ones...
  18. Sounds like it was a good run. Having 3 cars turn up is better than one and that one NOT being the organiser. Sorry I couldn't make it, my car was playing up on me. I guess that what I would expect from a 25 year old car.
  19. hahah I remember this game. Everyone at school was playing it.
  20. The body and styling of the car looks something like this... + = I think the look will grow on me like the VE's. Edit: Didn't notice the above post.
  21. I can't imagine what other dodgy shit they could've/would've/have done to your car. Edit: PM me the workshop too thanks.
  22. 10,000k would be already purple as far as I know. I've got 6000k globes and they're a touch too blue for me already. In my opinion, don't go over 6000k at all. 4300k would be the best globe to get, but if you want a little blue to it, get 6000k. Anymore and you're getting shittier light output and having colour instead.
  23. :laughing-smiley-014: Are you serious man? ahahahaha. That's shocking!
  24. The brightest would be 4300k which is the same colour as sunlight. As you go lower than that, the colour goes yellow, up and it goes blue then eventually ultraviolet.
  25. Like the man said, ALL HID kits are illegal for road use. Go for 4300k, anymore is just rice.
