  1. Very sexy car man. Seen you cruise up and down my place a few times. How are the police to you in this area?
  2. Hahaha, yeah I was reading the thread over on ns.com and it seemed like a good turnout, but once people got passed the first intersection, trouble came in.
  3. So.... to those that went, how'd it all turn out?
  4. Just try taking out the fuel sender and have a look at it. I have a feeling there could be some rust build up which is causing inaccurate readings.
  5. What width wheels you want is more important. You need to find out how wide you want your wheels then use the calculator posted above.
  6. Well from what I know, the series 2's couldn't put the headlights which came with the HID's, but series 1 could. IF all R33 GTR's had the same style headlights, then yes, you can put series 1 headlights into a GTR. That's what I'm thinking, not sure if it's right though.
  7. It's seriously not all that hard mate. Not worth the money you'll be paying. Just take out the sender and see if you can find anything wrong with it. See if the floater has fuel in it (not supposed to) or if any rust as built up. If you can't find what's wrong with it, then bring the car to the mech.
  8. You can pull me out of this one. Not gonna make it.
  9. Yeah, it should be something along the lines of that. I haven't actually taken one out of a skyline yet before either. Only in my corolla. If you're getting inaccurate readings, there could be some rust on the contacts. Clean them off gently and it should all go well.
  10. Oh I thought he was asking about the wheels in post #11... Post #14 was for the wheels in post #11.
  11. "18x9.5 +15 4x114.3 Rota P45R. 225/40/18 Federal SS595." Is all the information I can give you mate. No idea as to where to purchase these tyres or wheels, sorry.
  12. Yeah, it's all the same.
  13. 225/40 tyre on a 18x9.5 wheel. Just to give you an idea.
  14. Here's a picture with a 215/35 tyre on an 18x9 wheel.
  15. No one yet as far as I know.
  16. No worries mate. The info was from one of the stickied threads. So if there's anything wrong with that, blame them!!
  17. My car's old. I can't drive the skyline so I'll be in my 1983 corolla. haha. That thing can break down at any time.
  18. All I can say is, THAT'S A MUCH MUCH BETTER LOOK WITHOUT THE OLD WING. haha Good change. Wingless looks kinda funny as well, not sure why though, but good move. Looks much better.
  19. RB20DET: 8.5:1 RB25DE: 10:1 RB25DET: 9:1 Is this what you're after?
  20. I guess seeing old thread popping up is a good thing and a bad thing at the same time. People should search, but if you're still needing more information and can't find it, PM. Just hope the other person is still active on the forums.
  21. The for sale section will be your best friend, but if you urgently need one, your local wrecker will be your best friend.
  22. It's going to be a pretty warm day on Saturday. I don't think my car's gonna survive being run for over 2 hours.
  23. .... the end. Is your oral on the new laws (1 passenger) only or is about the P plate laws in general?
  24. Try taking out the fuel sender from the fuel tank. Check if everything is functioning right. Get a multimeter out and check the resistance at each position the floater can go in to see if the resistance is increasing/decreasing at a constant rate. Where the floater would be when full tank of fuel, the resistance should be at its least, higher when floater gets to its low fuel area. Hope that helped or even made any sense.
  25. It's good to see some people use the search function!
