  1. Out of the two you've chosen, I'd go for the ozzytyres one for sure.
  2. I'm with everyone else on this one. Get some better pads, rotors and tyres before upgrading to larger brakes. If this doesn't work then upgrade.
  3. Just get the guards rolled, it'll be much easier and cheaper in the long run than to just throw in some camber when you don't want it. Don't lower it anymore either, you'll be sacrificing performance for looks. I think you can hire out guard rollers for about $50 a day or something like that. Or just get someone to roll them for you. About $40 per guard. Car's looking good though mate.
  4. Hydraulics aren't legal in Australia as far as I know. Only air suspension. Air suspension can't be made to go as fast or strong as hydraulics can, but good enough.
  5. What's wrong with the rx7? Anyway, go for the R32, if you go for the NA R33, you'll end up regretting it in my opinion. You'll get sick of the power pretty quick and you would've thought why you didn't go for the turbo R32. Of course the NA R33 or the corolla would be the safer option though.
  6. That doesn't look too bad. Try rolling the guards first and if they still rub, just get new tyres or ignore it. haha. Don't raise the car. As for the wheels sticking out law thing, it's usually anything past the guard is a defect. So if your tyres are out, but wheels are in, that'll still be a defect and vice versa.
  7. 1. Very high unless he's got log books to prove it. 2. Haha, yeah, probably, but once you start doing something to it, they'll tell you that you're no longer under the warranty anyway. 3. Not sure as I haven't done anything myself. 4. Not sure. 5. It's usually true if they say you're the first buyer because the cars sometimes aren't even complied when you check them out. They wait till a buyer comes then does the compliance and gets rego, etc. 6. Money issues. Compliance can cost quite a lot if you've got modifications done from Japan. 7. I'm gonna say no, but if you're going to do the full check up, I don't see why you would have a problem. 8. Not sure. I don't keep track of price. 9. As above. 10. No idea. My opinion.
  8. Roll your guards, if that doesn't help, try to find out where it's rubbing and use your hammer! Depending on how low it is, don't touch it. Make the car fit the wheels. Post up some pictures, I want to see how they sit.
  9. My car gets stuck on the way up. You need momentum for it to go up, without it, you're stuck. Open diff FTL. I'll try to take a picture with my car on the way up/down. Post a pic of your driveway DECIM8.
  10. Yeah, new one would be best. No point try to get it repaired when a new whole kit will only cost you $200 max.
  11. +45 offset it pretty high and 20mm LESS inside clearance would be a problem I would assume. I agree with SoFly, get something in the +20's range or even less for that width. If that's what you want though, trial fit.
  12. Yeah, from what I've seen my driveway's pretty bad, but I still manage to get up fine. Sometimes it would scratch, but with practice, it all works out. The worst part about my driveway isn't the driveway itself, but the road, gutter then driveway... if you know what I mean. It goes into a little 'ditch' which it scratches everything. That's why I use the curb to get around that.
  13. Yep, 100% agree with that. It's just now that 'rice' refers to kitted lancer's, etc. We've gotten used to having heaps of Jap cars everywhere.
  14. I would swap drive ways any day of the week! The lowest you can go legally is 100mm from the floor, but sometimes, people go to about 80mm ground clearance. I reckon you can get up that pretty easy. Just go up/down at a really sharp angle. So much that it looks like you're parallel parking. haha. No really, your driveway isn't that bad. Take up as much room as you can by driving on an angle. Once your two front wheels get on the driveway, you should be able to straighten up and it should be fine.
  15. Haha, you're not the only one. Seems like everyone knows about this event is on tonight.
  16. Oh okay, sounds like you've done your research. Post up some pictures when you've got them on with the guards!
  17. Hahaha, yeah, eBay is kinda dodgy.
  18. Come to think of it, I wouldn't be surprised. The S13 Silvia's had HID's in their reflector headlights so the N1's could've as well.
  19. That's actually pretty good. Haven't heard of that one before. I think most people think 'rice' as in it's known as an Asian food, Jap's are Asians...
  20. 'Rice' to me is pretty much and anything that makes your car look better without giving any performance. So a huge bodykit on a car that never reaches 150kmh+ is useless, so rice. Stickers to show off your shopping list (I think it's to make people think that you've got the parts), but rice. So pretty much any bullshit add ons that doesn't help your performance in any way.
  21. Are those wheels for the wider guards as well? The offset seems pretty high? Sorry, but I'm not all that familiar with skyline guards. What I usually do for fitment and tyres is, make the wheels flush with the guards and get tyres that are about the same width. So an 8.5" wheel measures 215.9, but closes will be 215mm tyre for example. Not sure how good this will be for performance and that, but yeah...
  22. HID's will blind everyone! Have you tried eBay? They store a few different bulbs, colours.
  23. Factory brackets to hold in the grille. They had HID's in them? I never knew that!
  24. For the R32 and R33, the rotors won't fit. GTSt have 5 stud, GTS only have 4. Calipers should bolt up, but then you'll need the rotors (as far as I'm aware). Coilovers, etc, should go in the same.
  25. LOL!! :laughing-smiley-014: Edit: I forgot to say something, turbo'd supra's are better than gtst's, I don't see anything wrong with the supra's styling. That's my opinion. I'm now building a bridge and walking the f**k out of here.
