  1. +1 to what he's saying, but I can't seem to get the eBay link to work. I've got the cheap HID kits installed in my R32's projectors and I have to admit, they're shit. They produce much better lighting at night, but also quite a lot of glare and hot spots. I'd recommend getting some name brand globes.
  2. Which link are we talking about?
  3. The reinforcement bar does its job quite well actually. And another thing you're risking is getting your insurance voided for not having it in.
  4. Yeah, always hear DT Panels come up when someones asking about a workshop. I live in the area, but have never got any work done from them. Always Jap cars out front. If you live in the area, why not drop by and ask for a closer price. Vu is the man you're supposed to see.
  5. Ah f**k... Misread the thread title. Thought you bought these for your dad. Not you getting it from him. My bad.
  6. Yeah, the car should be on for the air con to work. Not completely sure if they come up on the R33's though. 30 seconds is a long time to be holding it though, good work.
  7. Are you sure that's an error or the temperature? Have you checked the 'main' diagnostic thread? They topic starter had a list of what the error numbers mean. The thread's in the DIY section. If I'm not too lazy, I'll post back with the thread link.
  8. Only one I could find.
  9. What car does your dad have? Better not be a VZ commodore. *** thinks about the thread on ns.com about a commodore driver having nismo stickers on it. ***
  10. To cover up the holes, some people weld up the hole and then make it all smooth then respray. Some people use bog to cover and then smoothen up, spray. I'm not too sure as to how much this would all cost, but to weld, I'm guessing around $400?
  11. Have you tried using your GTST reinforcement bar? I'm not too sure where you problem is, is it that you can't get the side of the bar to line up with your guards or?
  12. I would say that they wouldn't even come up to you if they knew you can't afford the car, but yeah, don't think they'll say no if you did ask them. I would turn up looking sensible and when checking out the car, ask if it has this and that, trying to look/sound like you're interested. Ask about the different models in the same category, why they're better for a daily and which would best suit you, etc.
  13. Just keep your eye on the for sale section and carsales, carpoint, etc. Test drive as many cars as possible and read the "what to look for when buying a skyline" thread. There's also a huge thread about which dealers are good and member's experiences in this section. Oh and look at private seller cars first in my opinion. Good luck with your search!
  14. Nice shot mate. You can see so much detail on the legs of the spider.
  15. Yep, that's the one to hold. Make sure you hold it down for the complete 10sec or whenever the 'FC' comes up. It takes a while.
  16. Some people use toothpaste?
  17. On my spoiler there were only four screws. Two on each side. Using a hair dryer or heat gun will help taking the spoiler off of the glue/sticker. You'll have to scrub off all the left over glue/sticker as well and that might scratch the paint. Doesn't matter, you'll have to get a respray when you cover up the holes anyway.
  18. Doesn't look too bad. Not something I would fork out money for though, but R34 GTR front on a Stagea I'll do any day.
  19. That's freaky. Did you take the photo yourself?
  20. Yep, try put the system in the coldest setting and note how cold it gets. Then push and hold the cold button for roughly 10secs or until 'FC' comes up, then check how cold it is again. If it gets cooler, it could be the sensors playing up.
  21. There would most likely me glue or some sort of double sided tape holding it down. On my sedan's boot, the spoiler was held on pretty tight by the tape as well. Just use a little more force, it'll come off.
  22. If I were to purchase a 32 GTR, I wouldn't look at anything below $21k - $22k. I'm not saying that there's no GTR under $20k that's good, but there's just a higher chance of them being in need of a rebuild soon, or things need replacing. If you find one for $17k that passes all the major $$ spending test, go right ahead and purchase it!
  23. There's a pinned thread somewhere about what to look for when buying a skyline mate. You pretty much just check it out like any other turbo car. Compression test, etc.
  24. The 18x10 +18 are on the rears and 17x9.5 +17 are on the fronts by the looks of things.
  25. Good to see the GTR on the track where it belongs. What's that other car beside it?
