  1. LOL One turn of the wheel and the tyres will be pulled off by the guards.
  2. Cheers for the pic mate. Too bad you have to move the calipers to get full use of the roller. Damn 4 pot calipers.
  3. R33 headlights are reflector style and with those cheap HID kits in them, they're going to produce HEAPS of glare and hotspots which will blind on coming traffic and could make your insurance company not pay out. If I were to buy those cheap HID kits, I would put them in projector style headlights. They're not much better, but they're not as bad as R33's.
  4. It's a bitch to get to. It's not a do it at home job, you'll need a hoist. The switch is near the top of your gear box if I remember correctly. I think you'll have to remove the whole gearbox, but not 100% sure. If my memory isn't playing with me, a new switch should cost you ~$90 from Nissan.
  5. Does this pass for a reason to have stretched tyres?
  6. Is it an instant stop? Or does it go down to idle then stall?
  7. Ebay would be the best place to look at, but anyone who sells those HID kits should be able to get you the globes separately. Should cost you around $80 the pair? It was either $80 a pair or EACH.
  8. Do what QWK32 has mentioned and if it still pushes the wrong air, it could be something wrong with your motor which controls the hot/cold valve.
  9. Just take out your existing globe and see what style they are. If they're H1's, get H1 HID kits, H3's, get H3 kit etc.
  10. Are the sizes of your tyres the same all round? Same rolling diameter?
  11. Why would they want to do that? haha. What a waste of time.
  12. I'm honestly not a fan of those flares. I prefer guard flaring not bolt on ones, but for a skyline, they don't look right with flares. My opinion.
  13. The 'A' 'B' 'C' thing is the face of the wheel as far as I know. Different faces are used to clear the 4 pot brakes. Can't remember if it was 'A' that was the one which clears them the least or the most.
  14. I assume it's him/his parents paying for it. He only had 3rd party insurance.
  15. Yeah, I was going to say something like this. It's not recommended that you flash HID globes on and off quickly. With the high beams, that's what you're pretty much going to do. I don't see why Nissan used HID's for the high beams. The other car's with HID high beams have high and low beams in the one projector with a shield like you mentioned. No worries mate.
  16. The H1 globes aren't designed to suite his headlight housing because they were made for D2R globes. He wants to get the factory light output. All the H1 globes are going to do is cause glare and hot spots. Just as bad as 33's with HID kits.
  17. Have a look through the traders on this site or keep an eye out for someone selling one in the for sale section. R33 sedan and coupe fronts are the same if they're the same series.
  18. Any chance you can post a pic up of it? Let us know how it goes.
  19. Yeah, just twist them out. Try pushing in while you do it. It'll make it easier. It could be a bitch to get a grip of though if you've got the air box/battery or something in the way.
  20. Had a similar problem, but went away after 2mins of driving. I think it could be a stuffed globe.
  21. I don't see why not. As long as the ballast and globes are good quality it should be fine as far as I know. If I were you and could get some bosch items over the cheapo ones on ebay, I'd get them. I just think of it as, "If I know what the brand is, it must be good." haha, if it's some random company, then it's probably shit. You just need to replace the globe with a higher kelvin. I think standard would be 4300K which give the best, whitest light. If you want a blue to it, you should get 6000k, but I don't know if they make them at this temperature for the D2R's. Don't get the 6000k in my opinion. They look too ricey and you'll get a much higher chance of getting pulled over with them. Stick with the 4300k.
  22. That's pretty crazy.
  23. There's quite a few traders on here and ns.com that sell GT-C's. They're not the cheapest wheels to get.
  24. The atmo bov's don't have any performance benefits as far as I know. Most people upgrade their bov's to get the sound (unless it's recirculating), but some get them because when you're running higher boost, the standard one leaks.
