  1. I know I've asked you how wide your wheels are currently, but I've forgotten. How wide are your wheels again? I always assumed skylines had the same guard clearance as the silvias. I've seen a few S13's with ~9" wheels with 0 offsets and they only needed guards rolled. Edit: The S13's would've had stretched tyres.
  2. Bad luck mate. I know how you feel with the stress of exams. Lucky you had 3rd party insurance though.
  3. Yeah, saw this on the news a couple of minutes ago. Not sure what car it was, but it was yellow. Driver died and the navigator got sent to hospital. RIP
  4. The for sale section Do you want dealer or private sellers?
  5. You're best off buying your own guard roller. You can roll and flare your guards with the one tool. Like Craved said, most people charge about $50 per guard, but as far as I know, that's only to roll your guards not flare them. To flare, people charge about $65+. You can pick up guard rollers for ~$250, do your car and then flare 3 other people's cars and you've got your money back. To minimize cracking and buckling, try flaring your guards on a really hot day so that your whole panel is nice and hot.
  6. Nice choice on wheels. Those offsets and width don't seem to be that low or wide. Are you sure you need guard modifications to fit the wheels? I don't know 34 guards so please ignore my inexperience if they clearly don't fit.
  7. The new laws don't allow you to do anything that increases engine power output so that rules out having any sort of modification to your exhaust system. Best thing to do would be to just go for suspension, braking upgrades or cosmetics/wheels. Or just get a new sound system.
  8. Here's a picture of mine. Pretty bad quality though, just stand 5m from the screen and it'll be a little clearer.
  9. Very clean ride mate. I first off thought you've got two white 33's, but then saw the burgundy one at the back.
  10. They're weird problems man. I understand the power steering not working after a while, but the others I've never heard of before. Best bet would be to get an auto electrician to look at it, but like you said, it's the long weekend and no one will be working. Good luck! Edit: The long weekend is only in Melbourne, sorry.
  11. Yeah, that's what I thought first as well. There's S15 fronts on everything these days. Even on bloody civics and integras.
  12. (first time using that) http://images.google.com.au/images?hl=en&a...mages&gbv=2
  13. Yeah there is a kit mate. http://www.garage-13.com/exterior.html
  14. The offset of the car above isn't THAT good. I mean it's got a wider body, but the wheels aren't close enough to the guards in my opinion. The front are alright though. Try using this calculator mate. http://www.1010tires.com/WheelOffsetCalculator.asp Just experiment with different offsets and width to see how much the wheel comes out and see if there's enough room under your guards.
  15. There's a good chance that your shocks are gone mate. How old are your shocks? Are they standard?
  16. You can flare your guards 30mm, but it'll just gonna f**k up your guards and paint. On the S13's, a dent appears after flaring about 10mm. So it doesn't take much to f**k up your body. Best bet would be to throw some negative camber on it with stretch tyres.
  17. You'll have problems find one for sale at wreckers. They're usually all gone because people want to clear defects, etc.
  18. haha That's what I was thinking when I was looking at the photos.
  19. Best bet would be to visit your local Jap import wrecker. Just ask them for what you need and they should be able to help you out. It'll work out cheaper as well.
  20. The thing with those cheap seats is that the rails don't fit properly and you'll need big modifications. But yeah, what isn't defectable these days. Best to get some second hand re-trimmed GTR seats in my opinion.
  21. You should have the wheel/tyre with the larger rolling diameter at the rear as far as I know. If you've got larger ones at the front, the attessa system will think you're losing traction at the rear and will be 'confused'. Either drive without the new wheels or with the fuse ripped out.
  22. If you blow your engine, it's a good excuse to throw an RB26 into it.
  23. I don't see why you wouldn't get away with your own one made up. The one on my car looks like it was done on excel. Might change mine so that it had 275mm wide tyres from factory
  24. These laws are here to protect you, but I see where you're coming from. I think the things you listed will work, but only if get pulled over during work hours not at 3am on a Saturday morning.
  25. I guess one reason would be that the owners are getting sick of all the attention they get from the police. Defect, bad rep, etc.
