  1. Yeah, usually airbrushing looks like shit (my opinion), but that actually doesn't look too bad. Nice ride mate.
  2. GT-C's only look good when they have low offsets.
  3. Yeah, it is a sexy bonnet, but I've never seen one with that style on a skyline before.
  4. Maybe take a photo of your brakes. The boys/girls with the 4 pot brakes can compare them to yours and we'll see whether or not they're 4 pot. Does your car have 5 stud wheels or 4?
  5. This is a skyline forum and you're going to get people saying 32 or 33 depending on what the owner has, but if I were you, I'd get the 32 or the 33, haha. Good luck.
  6. I don't think coilpacks are the problem here, but you'll be looking at about $500, $650 or something like that for splitfires. Yeah, that's what we thought with my brother's car, but when we changed the battery, everything went back to normal. The battery could've been really f**ked though. It doesn't hurt to borrow a friends battery to see how things are going.
  7. I would've thought your car would now be called a write-off with that damage. Like Spunky Munky said, probably best to sell the car or something. Not worth fixing.
  8. Fark, your car looks sexy Yawn. Love the white and clean look you have going.
  9. If you're looking for wheels with low weight, stay clear from Tempetyres wheels. Best to go for some Japanese designed wheels. I've never seen an excel with some vskf or meisters on before.
  10. Change to a new battery and see what happens mate. My brother's car used to just shut off out of nowhere while driving, he replaced the battery and the car's back to normal. Good luck!
  11. The tail lights could be working, but the seals are all stuffed. Water, dirt, etc will get into it. Best to replace. I agree with the others though, you're looking at at least $4k, probably even $5k.
  12. Looks pretty bad in my opinion. Not sure how much it'll cost though.
  13. It reminds me of a Peugeot.
  14. Yeah, it's slipping worn out gears behind your dash. Like heslo said, it'll be a pain in the ass to fix it. Taking out the dash and that.
  15. You shouldn't have to rebuild your engine every two years if you take care of it (as far as I know). There will always be a GTR owner who's 18 and drives around in it like a dickhead. You won't be able to avoid that. The only thing you can do I guess is check out the car thoroughly and decide whether or not the car is worth what the owner is asking.
  16. They're old cars which have been thrashed so it's not surprising to see heaps of GTR's with engine rebuilds. If you're worried about purchasing a GTR and having to rebuild later on down the track (about 2 months later), buy one with an engine rebuild already done. The owners would've kept all the receipts so you can check what's been done to it etc. Good luck with the purchase anyway mate. White is one of the sexiest colours for the 32 GTR. Get either white or silver in my opinion.
  17. I think this will turn into another 32 vs. 33 thread, but I'd take the 32 GTR. Even though the 33's newer, I like the 32 shape more.
  18. I would go for the Evo. It's newer and it's got an extra two doors.
  19. Looks like a clean ride mate. I think you'll get sick of the non turbo within a month though.
  20. I think it'll be best to purchase a new/second hand one. You don't want your seat belts to be thing not working IF you get into an accident. Check out the stickied thread in the Vic Section for wreckers. They should have some lying around. I don't see why the seat belts of earlier 33 models won't fit on yours.
  21. Those H1 kits should be a straight fit on the newer 32's. I think it was 93 and 94 models, but most had H3C globes as standard. This kit your selling should be a straight fit for those who had H1 globes as standard.
  22. Oh the projectors will fit with some modifications to your entire headlight housing, but the globes won't. The globes are a different design.
  23. Also notice how much glare my headlights have compared to the retrofit ones.
  24. The temperatures the globes operate at doesn't have any effect on the hot spots. It's created from the design of the HID globes. The headlight projector is designed to run halogen globes which produce the 'brightest' light in a different area of the globe compared to the HID globes. The halogen globe could produce the brightest light in the middle of a H1 globe and a HID globe (still H1) could produce that bright spot at the top of the H1 globe making the light reflect differently in the headlight making the light not focused properly. Sorry if that didn't make any sense, but here's a picture of headlights with hot spots and one without. With hot spots (my headlights): Notice how the light isn't spread evenly? Here's a shot of a car with retrofits: The light is all evenly spread.
  25. Yeah, like others have said, there's a good chance that there's a vacuum leak. Just check over your intercooler pipes and see if anything changes. If not, we'll continue 'hunting'.
