  1. Nah, there's no need for HIDs in the high beams. You usually use your high beams to flash people and it's not recommended to flash HID globes.
  2. Try painting your intercooler and pipes black to make it look more 'stock'. It'll attract a little less attention when coppers drive by and you could have your pod there and not get bothered (as much).
  3. Looks very clean. Congrats on the purchase.
  4. If you're planning on just changing the globes, you can just change the low beam ones. The kit in the link you just gave is for the projectors which come with the kit. You can't use those globes in your 32 projectors. Did I answer your question or?
  5. Hey Spunky Munky, I thought you wanted to put the pod inside the standard air box to keep it looking stock. If you make your own air box, it's no different to just having the pod there out in the open (defect wise). If you're talking about something else then, my bad.
  6. Fuel pump dead maybe?
  7. I would say that it's pretty much the same thing as driving without a front bar on. You wouldn't be able to drive without a bonnet on a drag strip either would you?
  8. Looks like a few people would've lost one of their nuts.
  9. Standard 32 gtst injectors are red. If they're not red, they're probably aftermarket.
  10. I've been using Armorall and it leaves a nice shine and new look to it, but not sure if it does any damage when not applied frequently. It's been good so far.
  11. The GTR suspension should be fine in your GTS-4 mate. I've got some GTR coilovers to replace my old worn out Nismo ones and they're not stiff at all. Should be alright as a daily. They're not lower either. How much you paying for your GTR suspension? Just to give you an idea of how much they're worth, I bought the whole set (4 GTR coilovers) for $150. They were in good condition.
  12. I'd go for something Toyota, probably a Camry or a Corolla.
  13. Yeah, Ronin did a retrofit on his GTR with euro projectors. Hey someonestolecc, any chance you can get some pictures of your lights? I've got some installed and not all that happy. I just wanna see what yours looks like.
  14. Leaking intercooler pipes or do you have an atmo bov installed?
  15. I'm still too young to vote, but if I could, I would vote Rudd. I've never experienced Australia being under 'control' by anyone else, but Howard. I just want to see how Australia will be like under Labor's control. I obviously don't have any idea how everything works
  16. The valet thing he's talking about is a 'mode' you set your boot lock into. You can disconnect your boot lever and the only way of opening the boot is by key. There should be three keys for your car, two 'master' ones which can get into everything and one 'valet' one. This key can't access your boot by the key or glove box.
  17. Yeah, check your power steering fluid levels. I remember the day we looked at my car before purchasing it had the hicas light on, but later it didn't. Couple of months later, wanted to check all fluid levels and the power steering was dry!
  18. When you get those cheap HID kits, they're only replacing your low beam globes. I've got them in my car and don't recommend them. They produce a lot of glare and hot spots. The main difference between a 32 and euro projector would be the design and materials used. The euro ones are better designed to produce less glare and have a sharper cut off line. It's all in the design and projector material as far as I know.
  19. Manual or auto? $12k.
  20. I guess that's why he didn't talk to me, didn't take me seriously (I wasn't serious on buying any cars anyway ).
  21. The ball joint is the thing stuck on a lower control arm. Here's a pic of an s13 one.
  22. Rear wheel drive unless it's a gt4 which it will be 4wd.
  23. How does the car drive? If it drives normal and the light is always on, rip the globe out. I think that's what the previous owner of my car did.
  24. There's no need to start unscrewing things (yet). The reason you switch your system from hot to cold or cold to hot is so that you see where the motor is located and the cables you need to shake is in that area. It's so stupid how a little shake can fix something you use so much.
