  1. There's a bid on it already. It's shocking how people actually buy these things.
  2. This makes me think of what's going on in California. Crushing 'hoon' cars. I know it's got nothing to do with 'hoons' though. Just wanted to get in before the lock.

    Eastside!

hahaha this is true. Not that I get any tutoring. Friends do haha
  4. I would say it's something to do with your gearbox. Not sure on how to check if it's a rb25 one though.
  5. I think going down to bare metal depends on what colour you want the new colour to be. If you've got a gun metal colour now and want to go to something like black then you wouldn't have to, but then if you want to go to white or something then you will. Just my opinion, never done anything like this before myself.
  6. Never heard of people getting genuine kits, so I think it'll be easier just to get a fibreglass copy. The picture you've got looks like a vertex kit to me.
  7. I would just use a hair dryer or just leave them out in the sun depending on how the weathers like. Not sure if I'll go out and buy a new set just yet. How long has it been since you gave them a bath?
  8. I didn't think of that. haha
  9. Happy birthday mate. Just get a gtr bov. Looks standard if you're after that sort of look.
  10. Can tyres really do that much? 20km difference at 100kmh?
  11. Sounds like your motor which controls the hot/cold is stuck on the hot. Give the 'FC' thing a try and see what happens.
  12. White on black looks pretty good, but like Yawn, I prefer the gold/bronze.
  13. Welcome to the forum Ian. It's a nice ride you've got there.
  14. Did this by any chance happen while you were going at 260kmh? haha jk. I was just thinking of the thread in the Skylines and other... section ('rattling dash while going at 260kmh, should I be concerned?' thread). Edit: this one http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/t185513.html
  15. I know what you mean there. I painted my pipes matt black for a more stock-ish look and the cover is rubbing all the paint off!! When I repaint it, it looks dodgey. haha
  16. Yeah, Ray's wheels usually have the disk type and tell you whether or not they'll clear your brakes as well. I'm pretty sure they tell you whether or not they'll clear the standard GTR and Supra brakes, but I'm not too sure if they'll tell you if the wheels will clear aftermarket 8pot brakes for example. Best thing to do is trial fit before you buy.
  17. You should be able to do it yourself mate. No need to take it to a mechanic. Were you fed up with the headlights going cloudy? That's why you bought a new set?
  18. Oh okay, I didn't realise you were talking about taking the dirt out of the indicator part only. I would've thought that the whole light will come out, but I'll leave this to someone who's done this before to answer.
  19. I have a feeling this could be something to do with the hicas. Hicas kicks in at ~80kmh mark. What's happening to your friends car is wierd though, never heard/read of it before.
  20. I'm surprised this thread's still open.
  21. Yeah I think they did make them. Not sure how common they are though. http://www.motortraders.net/imports/spec.asp?id=716 There's a coupe photo, but it's supposed to be a sedan.
  22. Who's getting banned?
  23. If you're going to track your car (I assume you do that's why you care about weight), don't get those cheap, shit quality wheels from tempetyres and ozytyres or someshit I can't remember. You're only looking for trouble if you do.
