  1. It's usually the compliance people who turn it back isn't it?
  2. I think the sensor is near the top of the gearbox so it's going to be pretty hard getting to it.
  3. I hear a lot about the rotors being shit to keep in good condition, but is this a rumour or is it actually shit? Are you guys saying it's shit because it's actually shit or are you just pissed off deep down inside that these engines are better? Serious question.
  4. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...showtopic=35129 Pretty much what's in there I guess.
  5. Is it hard to find a Stagea engine? Never see them forsale.
  6. From the pictures I've seen on hidplanet.com, the work you put into making these headlights are worth it. The cut off lines are so sharp on some of the retrofits they do.
  7. Try checking over all your fluid levels. The warning light can come up if your brake fluid is low. Don't forget to check the fluid in the boot aswell. Bit obvious stuff to check, but you never know. Goodluck
  8. Yeah, I know what you mean mate. I think all the information you will ever need is on this site. All you have to do is search. It's all here, but sometimes it's a bit hard to find information if the problem you have is un-common.
  9. Your brakes are the only thing stopping your car while it's moving. If you don't know what you're doing I think it's best to leave it to a professional. I assume that there is still air in your system if the peddle is going half way down to work. How were the brakes before you had people working on it?
  10. I would say that if it's still in good condition, why not?
  11. Yeah I would think that the cleaner one was a new replacement or that the one that is clouding up has stuffed seals.
  12. Oh okay. I thought I it was the gearbox.
  13. If the belt obviously looks new then it would've been changed, but if you're not sure about it, I think it'll be best to change the belt. Better to be safe than sorry.
  14. The lights you never see on could be the high beams. The high beams aren't often used and maybe that's why you never see them on.
  15. Yeah this question gets asked quite a lot. Also many others. Maybe they just don't know how to use it properly.
  16. Yeah I think the GTS-4's gearbox has shorter gears for better acceleration. I think GTR owners who are into drag racing often put the GTS-4 boxes in because they're better suited to quarter mile.
  17. I think you've got a atmo bov or a leaking intercooler piping. If you've got an atmo bov, that's the problem. If not, check over your intercooler piping. Could be leaking.
  18. My friend did this recently to get pass these new turbo, V8 rules. I think he said he only had to be a resident for 3 months in SA. Once the 3 months went by, he went to SA to get his licence. The next day he came back to Melb and drove. He's now living in Melb, but he is still 'living' in SA. What he told the cops when he first got pulled over was that he was trying to sell the car and they let him off. He told me if he knew the trouble to get his licence in SA, he wouldn't have done it. He gets to drive a turbo car on his Ps so I think it would've been worth it.
  19. Some say that it'll take about 6 hours, some say that if you know what you're doing, it'll only take 1 hour. I think it's best to get someone who's taken out the dash before to help save some time.
  20. Get a new pump just to be safe. These car's are well over 15 years old and you never know when they could stop working. If you're on a tight budget, the GTR pumps should be fine, but they're also 15+ years old. Best to buy the right one straight up.
  21. I agree with everyone else. Dead battery. The more you flatten your battery, the less charge it's going to hold the next round.
  22. I might just go and fix it this weekend then. I've been leaving my squeek going on for far too long.
  23. My bad, I meant 'a market'. Nah I don't have their number. They're usually always located at markets. You give them what you want to print and they'll print it for you. Costs about $10 or something.
  24. Usually at your local market. I don't know about Sydney, but here in Melbourne, we have markets that run every Sunday and they're usually people who print decals to your specifications. Just give them the decal wanted to print out and they'll make it to the size you want etc.
