  1. Yo Abu, Post some pics of the wheels you've got on now. Give me the specs and give me some time. I'll try to find something nice for ya. Cheers
  2. I pretty much bled my clutch the same way as that pic says. Fill the master up with fluid, get someone to pump peddle 20 times, have the person holding the pedal down on the last pump while you open the valve at the slave cylinder, once all air escapes, close valve then helper to pump peddles again. Remember to hold the pedal down while you open up valve until you close it, then continue pumping again. Keep doing it until there's no longer bubbles/air coming out from the slave bleeder hole. Can't really tell you whether or not it feels harder or softer than it previously was because I went from a cable clutch to a hydraulic clutch.
  3. I wouldn't know which one would be 'best', but from what I've read, it'll be easiest to use S14 gear up front. Anything can be used out the back (33, 32, etc etc), but you've already got that covered. I'm sure you know what's involved so I wouldn't bother explaining that. I would say that it's best to purchase the parts through people who are wrecking their cars. They would be cheaper than what most wreckers would be asking being the main reason. Other than that, wreckers would be fine.
  4. Check the traders on here. Should be able to get a set to you got about $220 delivered. Just say you need one to suit a Skyline or one with M12x1.25 thread pitch.
  5. Well you know what? Since I posted that, I DID have another month off! hahaha I don't start school till 11th of August! I better double check though, everyone else starts uni again this coming Monday at the latest.
  6. Not sure when I'm supposed to return for the new semester though.
  7. You'll be able to run it on 91 octane fuel. With the car running good or efficiently is a different issue. Just tell your dad that if he's gonna run it on 91 octane fuel, he risks blowing the motor and he'll get shittier Ks done compared running it on 95 or 98. It seems to work for my parents!
  8. I honestly don't know what to say! To anyone in the market for an R32 which is in good condition, looks good, sounds good and even goes good, this will be the car you want to get. If I had the money and was allowed to drive one, I would definitely snap this one up. I can't honestly think of one thing that's wrong with this car guys. I'm really disappointed with Abu trying to sell his car again, I don't know what he's thinking. Good luck with the sale either way mate!
  9. If you could get some pictures of the light shining against a wall a few meters away, that'll give people an idea of what to expect with their cut off line when installing HID globes.
  10. Happy Birthday mate. Definitely should be a ban on working on your birthday.
  11. Happy Birthday mate. Hope the meet people have organised for you will be good.
  12. Decent projectors are hard to be found at a good price in Australia. Best to buy a set from overseas and convert them to suit Australian roads if possible. All that's need to be done to the projector is modify the shield. There's a few sites explaining how to do this. For more information about retrofitting projectors which were designed to take HID globes, head over to HID planet. Have a read.
  13. Sorry I can't help by posting pictures to show you how those width and offset wheels will sit, but I just want to say avoid using spacers if you can. Just buy the correct offset wheels in the first place. Are those wheels you're after available in any other sizes?
  14. You've got a wide choice of offsets with Ray wheels. Check out their site and see what's available. Once you have a list of the offsets for that width in front of you, learn how to use the offset calculator (if you haven't already) and see which offset will make the wheels most flush with your guards. Sorry I can't help any more, I'm not familiar with R34 GTR guards. Edit: The standard wheel sizes are 18x9 with an offset of +30. Going wider with the same offset will give you a small guard clearance and inside clearance. Lower offsets will result in wider stance (if they both were the same width). Just play around with the calculator and measure how much guard clearance you've got. Also don't forget to think about tyre sizes.
  15. Import Monster are a middle man like Brokenz has mentioned. They are there to bid, collect, pack and send to your door with commission of course. I haven't used them personally, but I have bought things from Yahoo Auctions Japan. You can pick up a pair of wheels which would set you back $150 (15" wheels to suit AE86s), but then you've got to add the shipping and the commission the middle man takes off you. Import Monster charge a 25% commission fee when I last looked through their site. When I bought my wheels, I would've paid an extra ~40% to get what I've got if I bought locally. With that saving, I had to wait over 8 weeks for the items to arrive. Buying off Yahoo has the same risks as buying off eBay except you can't/don't really want to go overseas to attack them if they rip you off.
  16. hahaha I see where this thread will end up. The 33 would definitely be the better buy. Newer car, bigger engine, better brakes, a little more weight, but it's got the extra power to pull it and larger brakes to stop it. They're the same price, why not? You say you like the look of the 32 more, do you like it a LOT more to get it over the 33? Best to check out a few cars. See which ones are in the best condition and decide on that.
  17. Actually take a look at the pinned thread in the Suspension Section of the forums. From the first few posts about 33 GTSt's, you don't need any guard modifications with those specs depending on your tyre sizes.
  18. With those wheels, they will stick out 9.7mm from the standard wheels which are 6.5 +40mm (correct me if I'm wrong, it's not a number I really try to remember). Depending on how low your car is, you might just have to roll the guards, but I must admit, those widths and offsets are pretty weak...
  19. I'll be there if I can get my car running man. Highly doubt it though. Have fun with it though, sounds good.
  20. The car's still complete. It's out front, the wrecker owners are trying to sell the car as is for $2k. If it doesn't sell, they'll end up throwing it in with the rest of the cars inside.
  21. Z32 and R32 GTSt rotors are the same size. Both 280mm by 30. R33's are 296x30, 32 GTR are 296x32.
  22. Saw Leigh's (4Door_33GTS) old car down at Centre Road Wreckers today, they're trying to sell if for $2k.
  23. You don't have to pull the wheel off to check if there are hub rings, you should be able to see them unless you've got the caps on the wheels. There shouldn't be any need to get another wheel alignment as far as I know.

  25. I'm guessing you've got headlights which take the H1 globe? Edit: I think the link below will be of some help. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/R3...id-t194275.html
