  1. I've recently put these in and they're fookin awesome shocks. Mind you at 600 a pair just for the shocks they'd want to be, but they're worth it.
  2. Close, but no cigar. The "deflated" tyre will still contain air at atmospheric pressure. The correct way of doing it is:1/ Weigh tyre. 2/ Weigh wheel. 3/ Add 1 and 2 to get weight of tyre and wheel combo. 4/ Fit tyre to wheel. Inflate tyre to desired pressure. Weigh. 5/ Subtract 4 from 3 to get weight of air in tyre. 5/ Smoke cigar. Get lung cancer.
  3. Update: found out the Metalcast "Smoke" and the Mirage series of paints are not currently imported into Australia. The distributor has no plans to bring them in. CBF'ed basically. So I thought to meself "Fu(k you clowns" and went higher up the food chain. If anyone is interested in any of the Dupli-Color products that aren't available in Oz send me a PM.
  4. Will check up with Toll re shipping. If they'll do it my way and you still have some left then I'm in.
  5. Yep, that's the tyre. Rated for 270 k's and two and a half tonnes of taxi. More info: http://www.dunloptyres.com.au/TyreDetailAc...p;from=nPerPage Here Crazy J, I'm doing your job for ya.You owe me some free tyres.
  6. What's Dunlop's policy on them? Still kosher for road use or are we on our own if something goes wrong? What about legality? Yeah I've seen the pic. Just making sure my arse is gonna be covered before I think about parting with cash.
  7. Oi dude, can see ya lurking. How's about if I sort with Toll to pick up the tyres? All you gotta do is tie a bit of string around four of the buggers. Can't be too hard. So, exactly what sort of Dunlop SP Sport are they? I've been checking and there are several different tyres under that heading, ranging from AP3000's to Maxx's. Which ones you got? Are they seconds or top notch?
  8. Pick up only??? No freighty freighty?? Keen for some if I can get em shipped somehow.
  9. Hey this is awesome. So if we evacuate our tyres teh cars will handle better coz of less unsprung weight. :sorcerer:
  10. There is but it's atmo, not turbo. Oh yeah, also it's "would have" not "would of". Bloody schools these days....
  11. Very cool. Respraying my one is gonna have to wait, dammit.
  12. Woz thinking about maybe rims and a few bit and pieces. Sorta decided Mirage rims might not be so good on a standard looking car though. Would look like a rat with a gold tooth. Better suited to a show car. Currently thinking the Metalcast Smoke would be a good thing. Car is standard burgundy colour (whatever Nissan call it). Rims are white, which aint a good look on a dark red car.
  13. That's your problem right there. Disable the silly thing. No kidding.
  14. Yup. 14 it is. Put a strut brace on my jalopy the othe day. Should be pretty easy to do. If you're rounding them try WD40 like t'other dude said and make sure you have the right socket. Get a brand new one. If you were using a 14 and rounding the nuts it's possible that either it's an old worn socket or a crap brand that doesn't fit properly. Either that or you just had the wrong size.
  15. Oh righty then. Mirage is this stuff: http://www.dupli-color.com/products/mirage.html Found out Autobarn in Tweed don't deal with Dupli Colour but Auto One does. Mind you teh Metalcast looks kinda flash too. Might use "Smoke" colour on a set of rims.
