  1. it only needs a right rear... colour doesn't matter, that is if you buy it
  2. price drop $4k
  3. price drop $4k
  4. there are plenty out there.. last time i was quoted $130-160 for straight clean undamaged panels.. and there are heaps out there. front aprons are a bit harder to find and in my opinion look average even when they are in good condition that's why i'm going for an r31 front/rear bar
  5. since i have the 2 cars now and can put the 30 off the road i'm going to start getting some (straight) panels and prime them up and slap em on. She'll look like a demo. derby car but i'll get in ready for some to paint.. it really doesn't need that much... front quarters X 2 filler cap right rear door and i'll just swap over the trims and prime it R31 front and rear bars then it would be ready to go to the painters to strip the rest of the panels back (some to bear metal and others just need to be scuffed back), primed, and painted.. estimating $3k cash to have the whole thing re sprayed (same colour and cost price) Then i will be asking alot more cash for her unless someone buys it before i start
  6. all interior pics are in my profile.... I'll pass on the offer though
  7. "for sale" thread updated with pics http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/R3...le-t287350.html
  8. clear coat f&cked but the boot is all straight bonnet straight, paint faded, front apron gone (had a slight hit to the front along time ago - no structural damage and just need new guards) bonnet faded right side - filler cap bit dinted, rear passenger door skin needed (all internal trims in fantastic condition), front guard bit dinted(can be beaten out but why bother a new guard cost's less than the labour), bonnet raised(air flow, not out of a line) door skin left side very straight and paint is good roof - no rust anywhere, sills cleaned regularly all seals in great condition, under side - top of all doors very clean and no rust rear left boot sills (tiny amount of surface rust about the size of a ten cent piece) rear right sill the same
  9. got the car on Friday and have put it through the it's paces... the thing flys! and the power comes on nice and smooth I'll put some more pics up of that one soon Randy, well i'll be dropping in there soon as all the good dyno tuners are out his way
  10. F&ck sorry guys.... i do have a Job and now a new car to play with lol got my hands on a camera today so if you're all good kids i'll put some up on Thursday!! (need to find a cable for it) keep your pants on....
  11. i reckon it would do the trick but i would stick with the 8 for the job. the 1jzx has an awesomely torquey motor and the low down power is quite surprising... all about the VVTI now - nice smooth power band
  12. haha... my L20ET would still get up over your build at the moment.... They weren't designed to produce excessive power, it was more of a reliability thing for them i think considering mine still runs like new nearly 27 years after it was built and untouched internally. may have a buyer for the r30 anyhow and the Chaser is flat out lushness to drive... shame i couldn't have the 1JZ in the 30
  13. sexy huh?? you like??? this thing flys and is still compfy as f&ck to cruise in.. landed with a few extra goodies we didn't know about at auction.. besides the $6.5k BBS rims and HKS suspension, a kick ass top dollar exhaust, nice recaro seat and Defi guages etc.... it's got a full OS giken gear set, twin plate brass buton clutch that is a dream to use believe it or not, and, a 1.5 way mech. diff!!! who ever had the car in Jap. new their stuff and didn't like skimpin on the $$'s
  14. hey andy you'll need that little controller that sits in the boot as well probably (sits up under the parcel shelf) - it controls fuel pump signal and boost signal to tell the pump all that important stuff..
  15. hmmm well looks like i'll have to keep her then.. here are some picks of the new one. >
  16. considering every man and his dog has one you'l have to get some airsick bags for your back pocket when you go outside then
  17. I'll put some more up soon and link them to photobucket or something
  18. plus i knew you were joking Andy. how's the faux R30 import going dude?
  19. i have a guy that has a L28ET i could chuck straight in... T3 as well for $2k... all it would need is the long box not my short one (which is quite hard to find apparently)
  20. i hear ya on the value issue... if i don't get at least $5k for my HR30 it's gonna be going away for hibernation in a box somewhere
  21. ha.. beer money!! considering i'm a bar manager one thing i don't need is more beer good thought though and yes it is a sad thing to see a genuine r30 import scrapped or stacked
  22. I got a 4door going but will probably be out of your price range... check my posts
  23. Thanks Andy, well at least there's an offer to start things ;0
  24. well everyone's point of view is appreciated, some more than others but they way i see it is if it doesn't sell then i'll just have to hold onto it... other than the paint it is in extremely good condition for it's age and ultimately if i could i would get it painted and put it on blocks, tuck it away somewhere quiet because some time down the line someone will be gagging for a factory stock example. yes you can buy an r32/33 for similar prices but how many of those do you see getting around? yes the market is small for r30's that is the whole reason for the price, it is 'rare' yes it needs new paint but if it had that a much higher price tag wouldn't be unrealistic.
