  1. WOW your new nur looks amazing! Where on earth did you find that??? Looks phenominal, only suggestion would be to swap the centre caps to the diamond cut finish so they match the wheel centres instead of the spokes. But that's just personal preference. mine for comparison (not the best angle though). cheers, Tim
  2. pretty sure he had the 6. Believe he's got a few threads up on the jeep forums about it so maybe have a quick search to confirm
  3. will tow 3.5t too. Brothers mate bought a new jeep 5-6 weeks back, factory hadn't tightened one of his pulleys (dont recall which one) which came loose & wore a huge groove in the block. Que 3 week wait for parts as they refused to remove parts from current stock or replace car (about 10 days old at this point!)& best they'd do was an omega loan car. Suffice to say he wasn't impressed...

  5. how much are the mcgard nuts seperately? After an m12x1.25 splinedrive install kit, ideally in black. Looking to grab it in the next couple weeks probably. cheers, Tim
  6. Your getting confused mate, r32 gtr/gts4 & z32 all use the same shocks. Eye's at the front, forks at the rear & the same lengths between all models. Gtst uses eyes all round & may well be different lengths to the other types (I thought all fronts were the same though), doesn't matter though as op wants/needs a set for gtr/gts4/z32. He's trying to put gtr coilovers on a gts4, both are 4wd. See this thread for comformation.
  7. you sure about that? I'm pretty sure fronts are identical between gtr & gtst & its the rears that are different... Anyway for the op, I've got a z32 which use's identical suspension to the r32 gtr (& gts4 I believe) & I've had 2 sets of HKS's. The first were the Hiper-D's (as on label on coilover) these are the original hypermax's with progressive rate springs, 10/8, & I found them too harsh to daily round melbourne. Then moved to hypermax 2's (damper on label, mine are a gtr set) which run 7/6 springs, found these to be an excellent compromise. Compliant enough when your just cruising round the streets but offer great handling once your in the twisties.
  8. It depends on the suspension design of each car as to what spring rates will work, you cant compare different spring rates on different cars...
  9. no flash this time, better location/lighting & a bit of HDR action
  10. deposit taken, nismos sold pending full payment. pair of bronze brand new center caps still available
  11. thanks! pentax k10D & yeah single flash. This area was actually quite dark with minimal lighting so definately need to get in there & keep trying locations. cheers, Tim
  12. long time watcher, first time poster here... first crack with a flash, getting too much noise in the shadows but should improve with practice (i hope!) cheers, Tim
  13. Have a spare pair of brand newies available seperately, wheels come with a set of four
  14. Also have a pair of Rays Flat style centre caps in bronze (same as on wheels above), brand new in box. Should fit te37, ce28's, etc but up to you to double check compatibility. Can grab the part number if needed. $60 posted aus wide.
  15. Can't believe the time has come but my much loved Nismo LM GT4's are up for sale! These are the real deal, Forged, Mono-block construction & tough 5 spoke design, really light weight & super strong. LM GT4's are designed to take big brakes & will clear brembos, Stoptech's, etc pretty much the only limit is rotor size that will fit under a 17" wheel. Overall really good condition, couple light bits of gutter rash but very minor. Comes with 4 genuine Rays flat style centre caps. Wheels: Front: 17 x 8.5" +30 Rear: 18 x 9.5" +38 These are the widths/offsets that Rays recommend for the Z32 / S chassis cars / Gtst / GTT & fit with no modification. I ran stock camber settings with no guard rolling & had zero issues with rubbing. With a guard roll in the rear you could go up a couple tyre sizes should you want. New cost is approx. $900 per wheel. Tyres: Goodyear Eagle F1 GS-D3 Really good tyres with fantastic grip in both wet/dry & a really aggressive tread pattern, won the motor tyre tests a few years running. Replacement cost of tyres is over $1500. (tread wear was measured with vernier calipers) Front: 235/45/17 (7mm of tread left on both tyres) Rear: 265/35/18 (just over 6mm of tread left on both tyres) Weight: I chucked the wheels/tyres on the scales & also weighed a stock z32 wheel with 225/50/16 Bridgestone Grid 3 for comparison. (Note used analogue scales, not digital) Stock 16x7.5": 17.5kg 17x8.5": 17.5kg 18x9.5": 18.5kg As you can see these are very light weight! Details, Details: I live in Melbourne S.E. suburbs & work in Campbellfield & can drop off if you live near home/work or somewhere in between. Local sale preferred but will entertain serious interstate buyers. There's an E-go depot in Campbellfield near work that I can drop the wheels at so feel free to grab a quote to your location. PRICE: $2500 ono
  16. hmmm, double post eh?
  17. Drove one yesterday at the proving ground & gotta agree, fantastic car to drive. Bloody torque steer was huge! Like triple the OP's budget on road though... XR5 or GTI would be my choice, really dont rate the mazda interiors.
  18. later series headlights or tail lights? What aftermarket stuff have you got & location?
  19. Thinking about some 19" Conti's myself, which did you go? Have they arrived yet & if so any feedback on them? cheers, Tim
  20. no your missing the point mate, this all happened 180,000km's ago (which is a good couple years ago I'm guessing) so it doesn't matter who did what, who paid for what or who's at fault there's just nothing he can do. Cant argue to have the bill re-imbursed & definately cant sue for lost time at work. Chalk it up to a learning experience & move on / let it go.
  21. You can only import & road register new gtr's that were made before nissan sold them locally, so thats what an '07 or '08 build with delivery km's. Basically pretty hard to find now plus the newer builds have plenty of improvements. So yeah the ones you see for sale used were imported ages ago... Importmonster translates any ad thats on yahoo auctions, that doesn't mean the car is eligble for compliance in australia.
  22. Correct. There is a slight mod needed if fitting r32 gtr coilovers to a z32 (pillowball mounts on fronts are different shape, circle v. oval) but no mods should be required to fit z32 coilovers to an r32 gtr. I currently have R32 gtr hipermax 2's on my z32. cheers, Tim
  23. No, see here for more info. Basically though for an r32 gtr your other complete options are r32 gts4 or z32 300zx
  24. fantastic build! Any info on the widebody though?
