  1. o/t but anyone else see the uncut 400R key on yahoo a little while back, starting bid 500,000yen...
  2. Parked at crown casino on Friday, loads of spots, cheaper than Wilson & close to gp trams. But yeah grab a train in if possible.
  3. That's alright, that's what I was referring to as well! The supercar's sounded brilliant compared to the muted burps & farts from the f1's, the rb7 was on another level again. So in summery, sad panda.
  4. V8's were significantly louder, though admittedly they were at full attack mode. Biggest sign was the rb7 doing a couple laps, sound was phenomenal in comparison, could be heard from miles away.
  5. Talk to importmonster or Jesse Streeter about ordering & shipping you one direct from japan, both have excellent reputations.
  6. Do you offer cheaper systems Chris? I enquired about the previous round but budget doesn't stretch that far
  7. Depends on how the manufacturer brings it in as to whether it's classified a low volume import. And a gt2 is still a 911, it applies to the whole model line so 993, 996, 997, etc. So yeah, heaps of 911's sold each model.
  8. Awesome shots Bennis, love them! Great page all round!
  9. An aussie company Alpha Omega already produce brackets to fit Evo X calipers & rotors to S / R / Z chassis cars, $350 a pair. http://www.ao-ps.com/brakes.php
  10. Great work on the ducktail, congrats looks really nice!
  11. Yes they are but they're using 3d printing with metal for production parts, very different to what people generally have access to. Also something the size of an oil cap would cost $300-$500 for a 'normal' printed part depending on amount of material required (not talking backyarder setup with plastic on a reel), the metal parts are a lot more expensive. I use a lot of printed parts in my line of work & they're often put in storage after the job is done, look at them a couple months later & they're literally unusable. Shapes will deform & sag, grilles will flatten out to the shelf, etc. & just to be a bit more on topic, here's mine!
  12. 3D printed parts degrade with heat & sunlight, you definitely wouldn't use one as an actual oil cap, that's asking for trouble. Printed parts would also probably cost more than a real oil cap... Personally I've got the tomei 'forged piston' cap, looks great!
  13. Search them through importmonster mate, easy way to search through yahoo auctions japan. Go to automotive>car parts>bars & cages, then search for bnr34. Here's your mine's link: http://www.importmonster.com.au/view?url=http://page9.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/k167688148&thumb=http://auctions.c.yimg.jp/img275.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/users/6/0/7/0/yasu32gtr2000-thumb-1388577175215257.jpg&title=GTRGT%20RnismoBCNR33 & the rough japlish translation: It is a tower bar and lightweight high rigidity reinforced with titanium plate and welding of the front tower bar made of Mines for two bars (also compatible with BCNR33) BNR34. It is a similar design but made Nismo laborer confusing is given in the image reinforcement plate is or has been on a slight angle there are high and low in the front and rear bar Minds made. In addition, there is the sense of quality very together with the dull luster of titanium logo SKYLINE & GT-R and Minds is engraved neatly. It was used without any problems a few small scratch degree thing also, but I need your help NC, in NR after a successful bid because it will prompt decision. tommy kaira: http://www.importmonster.com.au/view?url=http://page13.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/r107256028&thumb=http://auctions.c.yimg.jp/img385.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/users/8/1/1/8/tsubasa_ne_jp-thumb-1382881800454821.jpg&title=BNR34 ganador: http://www.importmonster.com.au/view?url=http://page6.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/f115935984&thumb=http://auctions.c.yimg.jp/img377.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/users/6/0/7/0/yasu32gtr2000-thumb-1351372468935941.jpg&title=GTRGT%20RGANADORnismo nismo: http://www.importmonster.com.au/view?url=http://page10.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/m110781382&thumb=http://auctions.c.yimg.jp/img233.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/users/6/0/7/0/yasu32gtr2000-thumb-1347145020299092.jpg&title=BNR34GTPGT%20Rnismo mines rear brace: http://www.importmonster.com.au/view?url=http://page7.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/g119037077&thumb=http://auctions.c.yimg.jp/img321.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/users/6/0/7/0/yasu32gtr2000-thumb-1348331090435789.jpg&title=GTRGT%20RBCNR33MIDORI
  14. No problem mate, brilliant wheels so will look great with or without caps!
  15. No sorry, I'm in Melbourne. If your tempted to try I'll do my new pair (2) of bronze ones for $50 plus post? Same style as the ones in my sig but bronze. cheers, Tim
  16. te37sl's don't take centre caps normally but believe you can get an adapter ring to allow it, you'll need to do some 'googleing' mate. If your after caps for normal te37's I've got a pair of rays flat caps in bronze, brand new in box.
  17. Have you had a look at this thread: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/topic/415203-which-big-brake-kit/ Quite a few guys have gone the alcon set linked in the thread which use 365mm with 6 pot fronts & 350mm with 4 pot rears
  18. The bigger problem your going to have with caliper clearance is the spoke design, not the offset. If you test fit them now & they don't clear the calipers then your out of luck. Rebuilding them will not change the distance from the back of the spokes to the mounting surface of the wheel.
  19. Yeah just buy new inner or outer barrels for whichever pair you decide to change & rebuild them, pretty easy thing to sort since they're multi-piece. Have a bit of a google, plenty of online shops for buying the parts needed & shouldn't be overly expensive if your doing it yourself.
  20. Yeah $300-400 should get you a decent entry level set-up, fine for thrashing around on the street, etc. If you want higher end you'll spend $500 on the chassis easy, then plus all the electronics. Plenty of good hobby shops around so go in & see what suits. New shells/bodies you can just grab online, easy enough to paint yourself just make sure you grab the tamiya poly carb paints (& you paint the inside of the shell).
  21. what about these ones, seems like a pretty decent price http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/topic/436315-fs-r35-gtr-factory-oem-redblack-front-seats/?hl=%2Br35#entry7146391
  22. Tomei Japan don't make coilovers, these are Chinese & have no link to the Japanese company. So worth the same as any of the other Chinese kits used. Also coils aren't springs but springs have coils...
  23. sorry if I came across as a dick but as I said, if a nismo wheel has bolts it's because it needs bolts, they don't do them for the look. Anyway great choice of wheels & best of luck with the hunt
  24. Nismo don't do 'fake', if you can see bolts its because they're holding the wheel together.
  25. How awesome to be able to just drop into these places when you have a little spare time! Have you manged to get into the zama storage facility, that would be a dream tour!
