mine has a mind of its own!! your right though, when it warms up it generally gets higher, for me it reaches the 2.5 makr i think.

Just want to know how u can check the timing on rb's? and how do u adjust it? also what should the timing be set at with following mods on my RB20DET:
*std ecu with hks fuel cut defender
*full 3 inch exhaust
*front mount
*highflow r33 turbo
*fuel pressure reg
*14psi boost
bit unsure atm....i have never done the timing on my car before, thought it might be worth a look.

u generally snap the plastic bit that goes into the back of the cluster because u dont line it up properly when u put the cluster back in or take it out an slightly the wrong angle!! its the dumbest thing invented i reckon...wtf do u need a spring loaded piece of plastic on ur frigging speedo cable!!
i changed mine...wat a bitch!! lets go find the dude who invested plastic speedo cables..HAHAHA

wat i want to understand now...is where does that oil come from? as it what causes the motor from depositing no in a catch can...then to a little bit of oil?

i put a catch can on bout 8000kms ago. I went to check it yesterday for the first time, and it had a little bit of oil in it. not enough to show on the viewing tube thing. but yeh...it had a little oil in it...
what does this mean? is it bad? is it std? seeing as though without catch can that hose just recirculates it back into the motor.
any help would be appreciated.

i bought a non genuine one from sum1 off here!!! the arm is a different length and therefore my clutch travel is hopeless!!! i got it adjusted all the way out!! still rubbish!!! IN OTHER WORDS BUY A GENUINE ONE!!!
dude, take the drivers seat out to do it....i didnt take it out when i changed mine, but 3 months later i snapped the mounts on the pedal box, so i took the chair out (4 bolts, bout 2 minutes or so), SO MUCH EASIER!!

high flow cats? what are they all about? coz i had my 32gtst up on the hoist today...for a little squiz!! haha...anyways...and my mechanic said that i had a full 3 inch exhaust (which i know i do) but just a std cat, and that i should get a high flow cat.
So i got a few questions:
1.What r they...meaning whats the diff between std and highflow?
2.what do they do?
3. does it make the car louder?
4.what should they cost?
