took the car for diagnostic..nothing came up..they checked the hicas unit..the sensor was rooted..so just put lock bar in its place. all good =) thanx for the advice.. appreciated!!

i think its called..ocean blue..or sumtin like that..not 100%..take it to an auto paint store, im sure their computers will have what the colour code is.

output transitors control the amount of current frm the pwr supply and get hot..these are usually connected to the heatsink.. what a mate of mine did was, connect a couple PC fans around the amp..they cost f all..and easy to wire up.. also i suggest, double check all the wiring..i mean everything...rca's frm headunit back..power, ground, rem..everything..

2nd that...remap solved misfire and r&r =) and yeh ground is crap..

dont think it has to do with alternator or not having a capacitor..i run 12 speakers in my car not including my 2 subs..i hav two monoblocks, one for each sub..and i just have a exedy heavy duty battery..nothing flash.. i had a similar problem to what your describing when i 1st started doing up my sound system..this could be one of two things.. 1) over heating..the amp is over heating..and so going into protection.. 2) amp is broken..i had an amp..dat worked..but..afta few mins of operations..turns off.. frm memory..mono blocks hav very good heatsinks..and can handle heaps for long periods of time..whereas 4 chan/2chan's cannot.. connect a mates amp or sumtin..and see if it doesnt..then its ur amp..get a new one..if it still happens..go get it chkd out at an car audio store.. unless sum1 else can provide you with some other info.. cheers

no im not...today..on the way bk hme frm wrk..i think the hicas f*kt up..my steering wheel has to be on a 45deg angle to the left..for the car to go straight..ive checkd fuses!!.. someone help plz..

battery charge is good..keep consistant at like 13.5v.. steerin feels normal..

Hi ppl, in short..i take the freeway to wrk and bk home..so yest and 2day i noticed the hicas light come on..while going at 100kmhr..and each time..the car tries swervez very slightly and i have to stop the car and start again..and the light goes off.. i hav not locked to d/c the hicas unit in any way.. my car is a r33 gtst 1995 series 1 i need some help asap..as i need the car to get to wrk for the rest of this week atleast.. what could be the causes and solutions in fixing it for the moment?? any help greatly appreciated thanks in advance btw..would luv to search thru forums for similar problem..but dun hav any time jus right now.. sorry

yeh i got 20cm 2.5" stainless steel intake pipe. afm on cooler pipe. its on the turbo pipe, which isnt recommended (as its hot air, and afm reads inaccurately), but i dun see any room on the cold pipe to mount the afm. didn really eliminate backfiring, til i got stand alone engine management. bov blocked off..got a whole new stainless steel pipe made for it doses n spools like vl turbo..alright to show off, but the high pitch dose really gets to u after a while..unless u got loud music inside the car

last night was the worse than last fri night. i got there abt 1ish. saw a huge mob walking on princess hwy towards the cops...and cars were going in reverse.. taxi copped it hard, idiots jumping on it, chuckin bottles, cans and anything they could find. lit a garbage bin on fire..chucked that on a maxi cab which rebounded of the roof and hit a smaller car on the windshield in the next lane. most trafic/pedestrian crossing lights on princess hwy/jacksons were smashed the flare was chucked around the intersection... couple of chicks havin a punchon.. attempt to break into retravision cop car past noble maccas was bottled... list goes on... these kids were outta control...under the influence of alki obviously...had no respect for anyone..guys/girls alike. somebody needs to teach them a lesson...

i think possibly thats the M-sport front bar, BN sorta side skirts and nismo sorta rear bar... correct me if im wrong..
