  1. ^^^^^^ GOLD! Hey im about to book my accomm but how do i go about it? Do i just call them up and book or email? I assume payment wont be needed until i check out correct?
  2. You see get well over 300awkw with those mods. If you are worried about fuel economy buy a Hyundai instead
  3. All depends on what you want to achieve power wise. A good bolt on are the N1s.
  4. After my car was tuned i noticed my rev limit was set to 7500rpm. I dont hit the limiter often,it might happen when boost comes on in first and my foot is on the floor but i normally change before then anyway. But to be on the safe side i might lower it to 7200rpm.
  5. Got the car back and pulled a solid 250 at the rears.
  6. This is my dyno sheet from my new turbo. Its a highflowed BB turbo with garrett core 700177-5023 mated with an 0P6 housing. A good street performer IMO. [attac ment=120456:Machined_front.jpg]
  7. GT2835 for response. Will see about 290-300rwkw at 20psi. Or GT3082 for power. Will see over 300rwkw. I have 250rwkw in mine and its plenty for a street car.
  8. Bingo! Dropped my car off for a major service, install of a few things and tune.Dropped the car off,5 days later it was ready.Very solid tune and worth the wait. When you start spending big dollars on mods i wouldnt rush your tuner.
  9. Stock RB front housing and VG30 rear both highflowed and Garrett ball bearing cartridge.
  10. Got my car back from the tuners today and made 250rwkw. What would i have at the motor 310kw?
  11. Up-dated dyno results. Now with: Highflowed BB turbo with op6 housing Tomei Poncams Nismo 555 injectors Z32 AFM Boost was set at 15psi and made 250rwkw Seems like alot of guys are getting 250 with stock cams,i wonder if the poncams were worth the money. Blue line is high boost red is low. Looks pretty smooth to me.
  12. I bought some poncams for my car.Its a 97 build so i purchased the series 2 cams.Turned out they were the wrong ones. If your car was built before Sep 97 you will need the series one cams part number 143020 remember this number when ordering. pretty much 90% of R33s on the road use the series one cams even tho you might have a series 2. Hope this helps.
  13. There was a delay at UAS so i wont get my car back till Wednesday night. Suspense is killing me! What i know so far is that the boost will be set on high at 16psi and low at 10psi. Should a safe and solid tune.Im hoping for 260rwkw.
  14. PM MANWHORE he might have one.
  15. But mate, unless your going to use the car for racing i wouldnt go larger than 260s anyway. My 2c
  16. If your budget can handle it,id go for a Haltech.
  17. Go to Hi Octane Racing they will sort you out,i know of guy on here that got 272s for his GTR.
  18. Highflow you stock turbo. On a 34 you will probably achieve the same result as a GTRS.
  19. I installed one of Johns BB R33/VG30 highflows on the weekend. And honestly cant wipe the smile off my face. The car will be tuned Monday week so ive just been driving around off boost and occasionally creeping into the 2psi range.Very torquey an boost starts at about 2000rpm.Had to go to Pirtek to get some braided line made up,but its DEFINATLEY worth the effort. With the cams,555s and Z32 that will be installed next week with the tune i will probably hit 270rwkw at 1.2bar. If you can stretch your budget i would seriously consider the BB option!
  20. You will see a 10mm bolt at the front of your plenum. If you remove this and start your car coolant will shoot out of it,this is how you bleed your system properly.Once there is no air pockets coming out of it turn you car off and screw in the bolt. Done.No more overheating.
  21. Check your cam angle sensor,if its aluminium then you need the pre Sep 97 if its plastic like the R34s then you need the Sep 97 onwards. Mine is a series 2,i bought the 97 onwards cams and turned out they didnt suit my car as mine still had the aluminium CAS. Now i have the "series 1" cams.
  22. Answered my question with the search button. If the actuator spring is set for one bar,the boost controller wont control it till it hits one bar. Meaning i cant select a lower boost setting than one bar. i guess ill have to find out if this actuator has been modified.
  23. Best to tune it.Anything that you change on the motor like that i would suggest a tune.
  24. Ive been driving around with this new turbo for a few days now and ive just been babying it around not really boosting it over 2psi. I wanted to make sure my boost controller was working properly so i gave the accel a half throttle stab just to bring the boost up to 8psi(set boost) but it shot up to 10.4psi(would have gone way more if i had not let off) So i turned the boost controller off and gave the accel another half throttle stab and still the boost shot up past the waste gate spring set boost level and still would have went more if i had not let off the gas. Im pretty sure all my vacuum lines are set back to the way they were before the turbo install. But i was thinking if the new (old) actuator had a higher spring in it would the boost controller not be able to control the boost until it hit this level??
  25. Dont skimp on you fuel pump choice,go Nismo or Tomei, they are direct fit,and will easily cater to your power goal.
