I ordered some Poncams on the 8th of August and thought they would arrive by the time i needed them 7th of September.But it looks like i wont get them by then.i know its a long shot but if anyone out there has some new poncams for a series 1 R33 (even tho mine is a series 2) that i can use until i get mine that would be awesome.Basically its a swap, your new poncams for my new poncams.i just need them sooner. Part number im after is 143020. CHEERS.

Is that GTR offset? Will these fit R33 GTSts?

Ive owned 3 cars with inline 6 motors (2 fords and the skyline) IMO its a great engine design.Easy engine to work with,nothing is hidden or hard to get at.Ford are obviously going to the V6 option because of cost and the fact smaller more fuel efficient cars will be produced in the future. I will always have an inline 6 in my garage

Will the pistons suit a R33 RB25DET?

The part numbers for the conrod bearings are the same for the RB25DET and RB26DETT. What is the part number that you have for the main bearings? As they are different between 25s and 26s. You say in your post that it suits both 25s and 26s?

Booked my flights last night,flying into Osaka on the 7th,staying there a few days then catching a train to Tokyo to spend the rest of my time there including the TAS(woohoo).Two tix to Osaka was 2,105 bucks bloody cheap! We all should meet up somewhere the night before for dinner.Will be going to Nismo factory and checking out some other tuning shops.

I had 8000k HIDS my car,they were in for 2 weeks then got defected,pulled them out and sold them on ebay.To much glare in reflector style headlights like R33s.Only suited to projector ones IMO.

You will notice a drop in response and maybe a little power if you fit an after market cooler to a fairly stock car.Because now the air has to travel further through your newly installed piping which probably snakes through the engine bay.But now that you have installed it you can run more boost providing you will get an ECU in the future.

Hey i was doing my own Tsukuba super lap on GT4 with my full tune 34GTR i got 47.9sec no NOS and qualifying tires. I think thats quick.

Hey so im not alone lol.Like you say the PFC is the same for series 1&2 R33s so in theory installing the later model CAS into an earlier model should be fine. Hurry up and do yours and tell us how it goes. How much and where did you get the later model CAS from???

A new Tomei series 1 exhaust cam is $470.If i cant get a decent CAS from the wreckers ill guess ill just buy a new cam,and use this late model one as a paper weight.
